That was the first I heard the engineer's name for this project.

This & the NY show is very exciting news. If a summer tour is announced before I finalise my vacation plans there's a good chance I might get to see the boys live again this summer!

Maybe it will be like Z and be streamed in full on Myspace before it comes out.  I can say all I want that I'll wait until its released to listen to it, but I know the first chance I get, be it a stream online or a leak or whatever, I'll be listening to it.  Then buying it the day it comes out.

umm... that didn't happen with Z. at least to my recollection.

db, there definitely was a debate last time about whether or not it was ok to DL the leaked version, which was complicated later by the spyware that the released copies of Z put of our computers.  Should be fun again this time around.  Maybe conaway will even make an appearance.  ;D

Let me go ahead and preemptively defend myself by saying I have bought at least 5 copies of each major album they have released, between gifts, replacement copies, vinyls, etc. and I'm sure this album will be no different.  So I'm not stealing the music I'm only previewing it before the record company says it's okay for the masses to consume it.

i concure with AMD....i've bought so many copies of the albums whether its on iTunes, CDs, vinyls, extra vinyls to frame, etc....so i will definitely listen to a leaked version or dowonload a leaked version if it becomes available!

Some songs were on the band's MySpace band, but I don't recall the entire album ever being streamed. I don't think they've ever had anymore than four or five songs on their myspace at any given time.

You may have heard the entire album played via Sirius or XM radio - I know there are several stations that play an album front to back without stops. The band also did a live performance on a radio show that was very, very close to studio quality, and consisted entirely of Z songs, in order, too, I think... It may have been KCRW... but if I recall that was after the album was released.
