Agreed!

Also, I find that Steve Burns (The original Blues Clues guy), his album Songs For Dustmites, is pretty good for a rainy day. Nick Drake is also choice rainy day music.
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

Jayhawks 'Rainy Day Music' is always good & Emmylou Harris' 'Red Dirt Girl. The Beck suggestion was nice too.

and of course, Acoustic Citsuoca!
But seein you feels good, and its always understood.

Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh.  For sure.

I still get chills every time I listen to GP and Grievous Angel - and I have listened to those records a lot.  And they're sad, and wonderful - and I think the main thing is that Gram and Emmylou were built to sing together.

Folk Implosion
Sleepy Jackson "Rain Falls for the Wind."
Arcade Fire  Anything from "The Funeral" (although I have yet to find weather/conditions that this album is not suitable for. My favorite condition for this one, however, has been driving in the snow at night).

I heard Sleepy Jackson for the first time last week.  I really liked them.

AND, I actually wrote a song about driving in a car in the snow, and listening to Arcade Fire.  ha!  It IS pretty nice to do.
