For some reason, I still didn't have that one. I also bought a cool bootleg from Patti Smith, with absolute crap sound quality, but a fabulous cover, so hey, what's more important?  :)

greg...yeah i-pods are cool.Must admit though i got mine for x-mas and still havent had time to put my record collection on it. I tend to go back to some of my old albums and then burn em onto the i-pod...hence the Muswell Hillbillies..Ive been a Kinks fan for years..Had em plowed into me as a kid. I chose MH as thats what im listening to at the mo..last week it was Arthur and....the british Empire another classic Kinks album.Long live the Kinks. Had tix to go and see Ray Davies in April for my 30th but the bugger pulled out...still got a slug in his leg :D..its rearranged for September. Just a thought but i think i sold you my spare copy of AtDawn Demo's album last year on e-bay..please confirm..was it you??? Anyway mate get an i-pod...select MMJ and put it on shuffle...all this equals heaven...see ya later my geordie friend ;D

Quotewho the f**k are the white stripes.

I don't know some name I picked up off of VH1, sounded good so I went with it.  Anyway, that Madvillain guy looks like he's wearing either 1) the mask from that "Phantom of the Rock Opera" movie from the 70s, or 2) the mask from that movie "The Vuyger (sp?)"

Speaking of movies, AMC just showed "Escape From New York" last night.  I can't figure out if Carpenter is a born again progressive arguing against the imposition of the state in criminal cases and the fascist leanings of America's penal system (more prisoners per capita than any other nation), or if he's a right wing loony saying that prisons in America are too cushy.  Opinions?

The new Wilco is nice too, but I really hate the "Less than you think"-shit they're pulling. Eight mins. of bullshit-noice. I don't get that..
