Didn't Tommy Lee Jones play Howard Hughes in a TV movie or something back in the 80s?  I can only remember the final scenes where Hughes has this "Monty Python's "It's..." Man" look to himself.

Yep, and only wearing a bathrobe that you never wash.  Apparently that's what happens to you when you're a very wealthy person who becomes reclusive.  Plus, all you do is watch movies all day in your own personal viewing room, and nobody is allowed to touch you, and the only person who can talk to you is your personal assistant.  And only sometimes.
