Itching for the US summer tour announcement.
Several other major tours/festivals are about to go, on or are already on sale and I need to plan and budget accordingly.
Any insight when we can expect an announcement?

I'm with you..... anxiously waiting some good news. I don't have any insight but have to guess that more shows will be coming in late July (around Floyd) and August (around the CA shows). I'm hope to plan and budget for MMJ soon.
I'm hoping that MMJ shows Louisville some more love with another shot at the Iroquois/Waterfront Park shows that got zapped last year, and of course I have to believe that a Red Rocks run will also get announced sooner than later. Past that not really sure what will pop up. We enjoyed the outdoor venue in Chicago and would love to see a show or two there again. Looking forward to seeing what they have to offer for Summer 2023!
I'm actually increasingly pessimistic that they will do more than a few festival appearances this summer. My guess is that they do a few shows in late August (maybe CO again) since they'll be on the road already. Not at all what I want but given the timing it seems this is most likely.
BUT (and I'm really hoping here) they do a run of multi night theater shows or smaller outdoor venues in September and October. And I'd love a new years run somewhere this year.
W Weezer/Modest Mouse/Momma and the Foo Fighters tour being announced in the last two days, my budget is squeezed!
Those are both early June for me. Wouldn't mind RR in August w a Louisville and/or a return to the Chicago Auditorium for some multi night fun.
Bring it on!

Heard a couple of sourcy rumors of dates in the second half of June (before Peach) and after Berkeley.
It's sort of annoying at this point. People are making plans and travel costs are high and it would be really nice to put something on the books.
Forest Hills in Queens has nothing booked the entire week leading up to Peach.. :cheesy:
Facebook has rumors of a date at Riverside Theater in Milwaukee for 06/21 ( or 24?) I have a feeling these dates will come out this week!

I really don't understand what they're waiting for. Every day they don't announce they're losing potential attendees. Let's get these dates out there already!
It sounds like we have some May, June, and August rumors. Out West (Bend) in August makes sense since we know they'll be in CA. Dillon, CO has plenty of openings in August. If there are more shows in May or June then we gotta be close to an announcement. The waiting drove me mad.
Any idea when an announcement might come?
TCU Amphitheater in Indy, 6/23. That's the only one I know.

With all of the TicketBastard chaos going on it might be a good idea to wait until the dust settles.
"Hopefully" they'll have the one big family pre-sale bugs all worked out. Hope we get access to the primo tickets that Roll call offered.

They're suppose to announce the summer tour at 1:00pm EST tomorrow and tickets go on sale Thursday. Fall tour announcement coming soon according to Patrick.

I just finished up ordering via OBF and I can say it was about as painless as a MMJ ticket purchase gets these days so here's hoping they actually end up in our hands. I was only allowed to get two tickets per event, which is fine for us, and not all events appeared on the list to pick from including the Newport KY show. But I did get a separate email about Newport saying there is a presale next week March 23 password CIRCUITAL general on sale the next day.
The Red Rocks backstage VIP access package sounds super fun but sadly that's not happening for us this time around. And of course no love for Louisville (yet)...
Edit - turns out that since I requested assigned seats for Indy I was unable to purchase Newport tickets because it is all GA.
No Chicago or Detroit? :(

Wow! The presale was awesome. I was able to snag VIP reserved Red Rocks both nights easily.

Yeah, I wasn't exactly planning on having to make the decision today about Red Rocks. Maybe that made it easier to get VIP since others might have been in the same boat.

I agree, I figured Onsale would be tomorrow.
Very happy to get the Indy show and I chose tier 1 also (160 for two).
I am a tall guy so when possible I will choose an aisle seat a few rows further back just to have a bit more room .
That always seemed easy with the old RC perk of early access or early entry for GA shows.
Hopefully assignments won't just put someone way to the right or left of a row just because that row is technically a bit closer where as I would choose the aisle in middle section a few rows back if given a choice.

Upon further investigation I was able to put in for the lottery for Newport with a separate request, even though the site says you can't do that, and I was able to pick reserved seats which is good news indeed. We'll see how it goes I guess...
Looks like we have until Monday 3/20 to get our orders in and general on sale starts Friday 3/24 for those who miss out on the lottery.
Like Mr.s White said the venue in Newport is directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. I've never been to it but I'm hoping it has a good view of the surroundings.

Gota say the lack of notice caught me way off guard, wasnt expecting anything to actually go on sale till at least tomorrow at the soonest, missed out on RR VIP, but still happy to see the boys making some rounds !!!
I agree with being caught off guard. I did manage to get the 2 nights VIP at Red Rocks but it was a scramble. I like what they're trying to do here and get the tickets in the hands of the fans instead of the scalpers. Just need to learn the process, like not being able to buy both nights at Red Rocks in one transaction. Had to buy night 1 then go back in and get night 2. I hope the fall tour includes a few more multi night shows. Great to have them back out on the road, can't wait. :beer:

I suspect the tix that people get will be great. Really wanted to put in a request for SD as well, but we will be a group of 6 most likely, and could only request 2 so decided to hold off.

Hey Trish! I might do the Charleston SC show the next night but haven't decided yet. That'll probably be it for me for the summer as I'm holding out hope for some fall multi -night runs/shows.
I'm more into those than a bunch of single nights (won't be able to do Red Rocks this summer) and I'd love to hit Chicago or The Cap again if they do a multi night run at one of those and fingers crossed for a NYE Run as well.
I would be willing to bet that the fall dates will include dates @ The Met in Philly- there were strong rumors about these shows leading up to the summer tour dates being released- but it makes more sense this will be a fall date of course.
I think the only summer show I'm gonna be able to catch is Peach in Scranton. :embarrassed:

they are sending out email notifications on a show by show basis, not sure how far they are on the list of dates at this point. If you didn't score anything, you will likely get an email stating such at the very end of the process today.
Got my OBF ticket for St. Augustine. I didn't think it would be a tough ticket but always nice to see a confirmation email and not a denied one. :thumbsup:
Curious to see what people got when it comes to reserved seat requests for shows. I just went GA Pit which I'm sure most everyone else does as well.
I know I got two front row orchestra seats for two of the Beacon shows and Mann Center shows through Roll Call presales and hoping OBF hooked people up with great reserves for those requesting seats.
I put in for both RR shows and San Diego. I got row 27 Friday at RR, denied for Saturday. Still haven't heard about the SD show but imagine should fairly soon.
I got BBB Row 4 seats 7-8 for San Diego - really great seats.
Bought VIP GA for Red Rocks Night 1, I got selected for Night 2, Row 5!! Wife got selected for our hometown show, Pittsburgh.

Think so. Think back reserved starts at 40 something.
I was able to score both nights at RR, row 25 for both nights! If we end getting more friends to join us I may try and trade or sell/buy more together. Would've rather been able to request more tickets for a higher up row but glad I atleast got what i got for now.

I'm in the same position and there is very little info to work on. Email said we'd get an email with the password at 1 pm ET, but also the presale to use the password starts at 1 pm ET, so I have no idea what to think...will the email be sent at the exact time the sale opens up? Sure hope not.

You definitely will! I'll touch base as we get closer. I'm trying to get a pre/post show get together arranged but gonna wait til we get closer and see how many friends will be coming.
My daughter and I sat Row A of the reserves in 2010. Great spot and you'll dig em. Tiny Amp and really not a bad spot in the place. I think it only holds 4,200 and there's no lawn.
I ended up buying a premium pair for more than I wanted. The links for the presale never worked, still down.
It's looking like we're not gonna make RR this year after all, and I have a pair for Friday in row 27 if anyone wants.
