Hope everybody's doing OK out there. I think we're in for a long run of no live entertainment. It sounds like some artist are already trying to put some digital stuff together for our entertainment during this trying time. This thread is to post any music you hear about being streamed. Neil Young came out with this statement yesterday to do some living room recording like he and Daryl did for the digital Bernie rally.

Stay safe out there everybody!

This is not streaming, but it is FREE from legendary Jazz guitarist John McLaughlin. He sent it out in an e-mail to his fans that I got and posted the link on social media. If you go to the site, you will find a link for the download. It is on Bandcamp and can be downloaded in all formats including FLAC!

"In view of the current situation world wide with Corona Virus and the fact that we are obliged to spend more time at home, we would like to offer our friends the free download of the new album 'Is that So'? until end of April 2020 from Abstract Logix.
Enjoy the music and stay happy and healthy!"

Eric D Johnson (Fruit Bats) performed an at home concert last night through www.stageit.com for $5.  I wasn't able to watch but my friend said he played for about 40 mins and "thought it was worth it".  EDJ said he plans on doing more of these soon.

Fundraiser for Service Industry

friends- glad to be a part of this fundraiser for our service industry professionals in louisville hit hard by the current crisis. touring and live music would be IMPOSSIBLE without all of these people's hard work, not to mention the everyday joy we find in a trip to the coffee shop, restaurant, or bar, and i know we all look forward to the day when it is safe for us all to be together again in these ways. we are so grateful for all the hard work our sisters and brothers in the service industry do to feed us, take care of us, and make our lives better in so many ways. please check out @whatthe_lou's fundraiser to chip in if you can help, thank you!

I made this video using 2 different video sources. The first part of the video, up until around 3:00 minutes in, isn't as clear and focused as the rest.

Light In The Attic presents a Live Covid-19 Benefit
feat. Jim and many others

Tune in for free on Friday, April 3rd at 4 PM PST via Twitch and YouTube.

In hopes of bringing some much-needed joy to the planet, on Friday, April 3rd, we will be presenting a free, live video stream featuring new performances from legendary artists whose music we have re-released over the past 20 years, along with a handful of talented friends from the around the globe each covering songs from our catalog.

100% of donations will be given to MusiCares, helping people in the music community affected by the Coronavirus.  While quarantined at home – from Rio to Tokyo; Cardiff to Austin; Barbados to Italy – each musician will be doing what they do best, sharing the gift of song, maybe in their pajamas and maybe with their kids, and wherever feels comfy and cozy in the privacy of their home. The lineup includes:

British folk legend Michael Chapman

Jim was great on Colbert. It was an emotional version of Lean on Me.

Radiohead is putting out new shows online every Thursday for the foreseeable future.
