Seconding those thanks!  Great video, and since they didn't bring a video team (or the venue video screens weren't working) this close up shooting is a super pleasant surprise (had bowl seats).  Was hoping someone took video of that excellent New Haven show, my roots hometown area. The poster is very cool by the way, with a New Haven pizza shout out.  Easily my favorite of the 2022 tour shows I saw.

Jim said on stage this was their first time ever playing CT? New Haven?  I missed the exact wording.  Think I saw somewhere that they played Bridgeport CT, Webster Arena in 2011.  Westville Music Bowl is a nice venue, very much Forest Hills-like, with better parking.

Brought along four first timers.  Three never-heard-a-song or knew of the band first timers. One knew of them, hears them on XM Jam On, but didn't have any particular urge to see them until I offered.  All four Loved the show, were surprised how much they liked it were the words they kept using.

Of course

They did play Bridgeport during the Americanarama tour. It was originally scheduled for the Ballpark at Harbor Yard but switched to the arena as the show approached.

I forget how soon before the show the venue was switched but the posters have it listed as at the Ballpark and were never changed. I seem to remember it wasn't that much in advance but I wasn't complaining to be moved indoors with AC and not deal with the heat and Sun out on a ball field.

Thanks for that history update ericm!  Bridgeport is where I was born. Famously designated once by Paul Newman as 'the armpit of New England' Lol

You're probably aware, but Harbor Yards ballfield is now a really cool concert-only venue, with circus tent-like spires covering the entire venue.  Think the design may in part be a nod to P.T. Barnum, Bpt mayor at one point.  Been open a couple years, hear from my friends it's a great place to see a show.

Here's the New Haven poster, btw -

You're welcome MPP and that's a pretty cool poster.

I didn't know about Harbor Yards being a concert venue only now, and hopefully they get a nice full slate of shows there every summer.

I grew up in Jersey City NJ and we had an older minor league baseball stadium that was used in the 50's called Roosevelt Stadium. Some greats played there like Yogi Berra, Willie Mays, and others.

Later on it was used for high school football games and eventually in the 70's it was a concert venue in the summer. Saw my first shows there and man what great bands came through and some great memories of those years. Here's hoping HY has the same type of effect on those living in Bridgeport now, and they can have as many good times as I did growing up with that type of venue in my town.
