Thanks for bumping this thread...

I wouldn't quite consider it art, as I've only been taking photography somewhat seriously for a few months now... but here are a few of my favorite shots that I've taken....

a poem......

Boogerrnade

Watch Out!!!
It's being built
Between my thumb and forefinger
As we speak.

Behind the TV or into the house plant,
I'm strategic as shit

Under your table or upside your pet
My lyme green boogerrmite
has just been lit
There's Still Time.........

Beautiful

I want to get back into photography; do you adjust your photos after you take them?

Not yet. I shoot in JPEG, so any editing would be limited. Once I get around to buying higher capacity storage cards (and learning HOW to do some editing) I'll start to shoot in RAW.

okay, i will just post some more now. st. john, i'm afraid i can't email you this shit because gmail hates me right now.

These are from my series of landscapes from Fall 2008. All of them go together, yet each can stand on its own. They each have long titles, taken from songs and readings that have inspired me in the past six months.
the first one: "No matter how it ends--until the body is combed into the water and one with the weeds--growing there"

"I am trying to break your heart--to make all flights from this nest, all forays, to keep hunting there"

"In the morning on the fields of green--it is always there inside the head, and will it stay there always?"

"In the homeland we've never seen--the child sees intense color in complete simplicity"

I hope they are never separated  :)

meggha's art is tight, i haven't seen her in here in a long time. nice stuff blucas. i have a few drawings I've done recently but my printer broke so can't scan them. they might be a little bit too big for the scanner so maybe i'll use a camera.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Thx MNT!  I look forward to some new stuff from you and enjoy the stuff already here.  I used a simple i-phone camera for mine, which skewed the color substantially.  Someday I'll research how to photograph them somewhat appropriately.

Here's a new drawing, I got a lot more I haven't gotten up yet. I used colored pencil, pencil, and sharpie pen.

Very nice! He looks familiar to me!

ManNamedTruth

Thanks for the feedback fully! I'm sure he probably reminds you of someone, I've met quite a few snakes in my day.

Those are pretty damn sweet, MNT.
Snakes? Somebody in my office asked me to draw a cat with a snake in its mouth, so I did:

"...the Bear, Heartbreakin' Man, Evelyn...I think we all know those."

This is like an actual portrait of my cat Jun, who was a renowned snake-catcher once upon a time. Nothing like seeing your cat out the window, snake in mouth, rushing toward the cat door to bring you a present! I've never run so fast in my life!
