We took my nephews to Jillian's on Saturday to burn up some extra game cards from my wife's work xmas party.  Games have really came a long way from my first Atari 2600, but what they have made up for in technology they now lack in character and interest.  I'll take me some Tecmo Bowl any day.

What a great thread!
I used to play lots of classic games at home but my strongest memory was when Streetfighter2 came out. I spent SO much time & money at the arcade playing that game!

Here's a link where you can play Pacman in all it's former glory:

I had another link where you can play heaps of classics games like 1943 (one of my favs!) etc
I'll see if I can find it....
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Saw an ad for this the other day, and my jaw dropped.  It's under $30, and you just plug it into your TV!

"Loaded with 40 classic games including Pong, Asteroids, Centipede, Millipede, Lunar Lander, Missile Command, Combat, among others, as well as retro game and arcade classics that have never before been released for the home console"

This was my favorite. (this was before Mike ate ears and raped beauty queens.)

Yes, Mike Tyson's Punchout Classic! Super Macho Man was a lil tricky but eventually got the skills to kick his ass, even Tyson.

You can play a lot of old games here:

I think 'Elite' will always be one of my favourites, the big kids never let me have a go but i loved watching anyway.

Watch this clip. It's fucking amazing.

Badass!  and I like how the dude(?) is sweating the 80's vibe out of every pore.  The guitar, the hair...

Dee.

tundra, that Atari Flashback looks like a good damn time.   ;D

The barbershop I went to as a kid had Pac-Man.  Made the trip worth it.  The only other game I've loved as much is The Simpsons arcade.  I would be Marge and beat people with my vacuum.  Sweet.

(Okay.  I just looked..that game came out in 1991).
