I know what you mean. I lived in Bedford when Italy WON the World Cup. Imagine the noise in Little Italy  :o

It's only every four years though  :)

You can not top the singin and drumming from the fans at these games.  Especially the South Americans.  That Argentina game the other day.  :o Some primal shit. World Cup on tv needs Surround Sound. Beautiful!

Kinda wish it would happen more often at a sports game here in NY. But I think we're stuck with 'We Will Rock You.'  :-/

All my kids were buzzed today for their first game. It starts at 10pm here which is too late so they're all recording it & getting up early to watch it before school  ;D
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

I hope your kids won't be too disappointed...
We are young despite the years,
we are concern,
we are hope despite the times

When most Americans are asked what the World Cup signifies to them, many say, "Means 2 1/2 months till football season."

yep, that and the whole every 4 year thing. We like our championships yearly, keeps everyone invested and interested and helps the money machine rolling along.

Ukraine two nil down after thirty minutes. Things are not looking good for doctor in the house!

Anyone else impressed by the Italians? They played excellent againts Ghana. More attacking than we're used too. Maybe the best team of the tournament so far?
Brazil on the other hand, was lame yesterday. They did not deserve three points. I wonder if the coach will start with Ronaldo the next game.

4-O down with five minutes to play. Now they're real underdogs  :) Go Ukraine!

Mr. T.

Italy was good against Ghana, but what I'm seeing from Spain is very impressive. That 4th goal was wonderfuly excecuted.

And Ronaldo must have been the laziest brazilian player on the pitch, he hardly moved. Wich was actually fun to look at.  :D
