I hear you wellfleet.  The times in my life when I've been living with a boyfriend, I always liked to do house-y stuff.  Which is the complete and total opposite of now.  

I really love it when you're playing a song with six or seven other people, and everybody's so quiet after because everybody was really into it and nobody wants to make a noise.  :)

The greeters at Wal-Mart always make me smile.  I was there at lunch, and this particular greeter had the sunken mouth, no teeth look, but damnit!  She wasn't missing one person who came in and left - all with a big, happy smile.  I just couldn't help but give her a big smile back!

seeing my cat Blue just lay out and sleep or do that face cleaning thing where she runs her paw behind her ear... that makes me literally take a mental break and be at peace. i look at her and think the world is gonna be ok for the next three minutes. she doesn't have a care in the world and takes immense pleasure in undoing my husband's shoelaces (put your shoes away, honey!) and chasing her toys around the house... she calms me down.

i like that i've been asked to sing at a wedding and it's an original love song written by the groom for the bride and it's quite lovely and gooey. :)
