I remember Brian sending me this video of himself. He said it was his peak before he discovered The Jacket (which will be exceeded only by Hey Girl's first world tour...). He said he won 11th place.

yeah, I still think I got the shaft.  In retrospect I think mabey I should have left my shirt on.  The lack of female judges was really holding me back.

Just because it's not funny doesn't mean it's not a joke.  :-/  I learned that from Tracy, and proffesional wresteling.

another thing about brian that often goes overlooked is his BOWLING ABILITY

The DARK

Do you actually play drums? You look like you know what you're doing.
In another time, in another place, in another face

I've NEVER played drums, I actually showed up at that thing just to laugh at all the losers.....some guy passed me this funky looking piece of paper with a dragon on it and said "put this on your tounge and you will see why Rush is God's favorite band."  Next thing you know I signed myself up.....and now my single greatest moment lives on through the glory that they call youtube.  pretty awesome.

It's true, I am a great bowler, even if my high score is 160, just to watch me bowl is on par with watching say a comet shower or a rainbow.....It's that beautiful.  Everytime I let the ball go you'll say to yourself "That has to be a strike"  One time I rolled a gutter ball and when I turned around the entire alley was standing and applauding me.  I'm pretty awesome.

OK, well, truth be known, I am standing off camera air drumming and Brian is just copying me, that's why he is like a split second off. If you watch at the 14 second mark he makes direct eye contact with me for like 4 seconds. That's when the magic happened and we became one. I can't explain it, but outside of sex, it's the most intimate I have ever been with another human being. At some points, he is not looking at me, but I am watching him, and he is following me exactly to the T. And there were times when I felt like I was following him. Then, it felt like we were both encompassing the same body, and we were both (together) following something much greater than ourselves. Then my left testicle started getting a little tingley and I blacked out...

It was, well, weird.

Tracy, your signature reads
"He enjoys true leisure who has time to improve his soul's estate-'
Is that how it goes? It would make for sense if it read: He who enjoys true leisure has time to improve his soul's estate. I've never read that quote so i don't know if i'm right.

Hmm, it's hard to explain, but it actually makes perfect grammatical sense. Let me see if i can pull that apart for you.

He enjoys true leisure who has time to improve his soul's estate

You can sort of fenagle the sentence around to read: He who has time to imporve his soul's estate enjoys true leisure. It's basically a causal statement--"he who does this will see this result", but rearranged so that it still says the same thing, but reads "he will see this result who does this". it's not so much of an if-then sentence ("if he has time to improve his soul's estate, then he enjoys true leisure") because to rearrange it would read "he enjoys true leisure if he has time to improve his osul's estate."  that's not entirely right. it's not presented as a conditional statement, but as an absolute that is not entirely bound by circumstance. an if/then would be a logical argument. this is merely presented as a non-conditional fact.

good lord, i don't know if that made sense.
The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

plus it's most likely from walden, which was written in 1854, which means people talked more poetic-like back then. :)

like when Robert Frost said, Who's woods these are

I had a friend (from new England) in the Coast Guard and when would drink many cold ones to an evening, at some pont he would start speaking all poetic, but it wasn't due to deep insight, more lack of brain cell activity. Went something like this:

To the bar-
beer-
send you with cash.
Get.........we 2 more.
No drive and walk with home-
bed.

and True, isn't remember to remember me a little redundant? Couldn't you just say remember me standing still... ;)
