Should I Go See J Mascis Thursday?

I'm really broke and I'll Probably have to go sell Plasma if I want to see them.  If you give Plasma is it still safe to drink?  I really want to see J, but We have the two mmj releases next week and then the Nirvana Box Set after that.  What do you all think?  I've never seen him, also I've never heard the solo stuff with the Fog, just the Dinosour Jr. stuff.  I would imagine J is still going to Freak the Fuck out on the guitar.  Mabey I should just Go.
