I apologize profusely Professor.  The only reason I used the present form of the action was because the prank was apparently filmed and runs again and again on the internet.  A complete misuse of the verb.  English was never my strong point, which is exhibited in my previous fragmented sentence.   :-/

The prank was funny.  Watching it over and over is fun.
