This isn't exactly the best atmosphere for a conservative to defend himself, much less someone like her.
--- and that's 2 real 4 u.

megisnotreal

dude.

ann coulter is... evil. one of my friends went to a private school in ohio and ann came to talk to the kids about abstienence-only sex education. my friend, 14 at the time, stood up during the q&a to point out that that form of education really puts kids at a disadvantage. ann's response: "what? you think we should teach kindergarteners to fist each other?" nice.

i heard ann used to go on dead tour. ;D

I don't like to be put in any political category.  I am generally "anti-government involvement" which sometimes is a republican stance (economics) and sometimes is a democratic stance (morality) to put it in general terms.  I don't think anyone's political view is even relevant in this situation.  The woman is an idiot, looking for attention.  Just another case of someone using "religion" as a tool to get what they want.  Disgusting.
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Ann is also a liar and a biggot. How could anyone, no matter your political affiliation, defend someone like that?

MMJ_fanatic

She's just catching up with the Michael Moores and the Al Frankens--that being said this clip is rather disturbing.
I am sure the left will exploit it to further marginalize her as a complete loon.
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

Did she go to the Rush Limbaugh school of broadcasting.  What an IDIOT.

I do not think that conversatives can even defend her at this point. Besides the fact that she's a f'n loon, her remarks had no basis in fact whatsoever. Not that it ever stopped her or any of these idots, but I have never seen or heard anything about Edwards being gay. Even if he was. SO WHAT?!!? Satire and raosting are one thing, what she did was not even close to that. So it's ok to use a hateful insult against your political opponent *coughslandercoung*? OK Anne, you are an narrow minded, psyhcotic, Nazi, tacky ass bitch I hope you burn in hell. (using my best Samual Jackson voice) My wife and I saw this over the weekend and just stared at the screen for like 5 min with our jaws dropped.

I do not picture too many conservatives hanging out in the Jacket's forum.

Other than the phony porno sites that totally degrade her in twisted, unmentionable ways, this might be the funniest series of things said about Ann.

She really thought that works as a joke?

Isn't John Edwards married?

I am sick and fucking tired of people who believe that conservative principles-- free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense--are best for the United States are somehow nutjobs and/or facist bigotted narrow-minded evil-doers.
I consider myself conservative and support a number of charity organizations which I feel are well deserving of my money--more so than a government that can't clearly track where tax revenues go.  Perhaps if more of us concentrated on acting locally government programs would not be necessary and the bloated federal and state governments could actually be reduced (not to mention the tax payer burden), but I digress--
Why is the title of this thread necessary?  Do you think conservatives actually, seriously line up behind ideaology like this?  Trash talk like this is a forte of the left, but when someone from the conservative side hits back suddenly it's time to act shocked and horrified.
BOTH sides of the political arena have fringe elements that don't really matter and contribute virtually nothing to policy debates.  I don't like either side of the mudslinging but quite frankly don't think the voices on the right should back down as long as the far left is throwing out its bullshit.
I suppose you'll tell me now to "WAKE UP! I was only trying to shine the light on how kooky Ann Coulter is!"  Well spare me cuz I see the same and more coming from the liberal side of the aisle for much longer, which is why I abandonded the Dumocrats a long time ago.

i honestly don't think tracy is trying to lump conservatives as standing in line behind coulter, but fact is, she is a figurehead for right wing america, and you honestly never hear too many conservatives discrediting her at all.  i don't hear too many republicans calling her an embarrassment.  my personal opinion, i think she does represent the views of quite a lot people, but they're too ashamed to admit it.  she speaks fuck talk that most people keep locked inside until they get too drunk or too angry or whatever the case may be.  the fact she can garner an audience of more than 3 people in any given place speaks loads about the demographic.  she's inflammatory, disgusting and very ignorant, to say the least.  basically what i'm trying to say is that it would be nice to see more conservative americans tear this bitch down and openly admit they think she's ridiculous.

No, just picture jacket fans being somewhat liberal, left of center, what ever ya want to call it.

Unfortunatly many only see "conservatives" as far right wing, ultra religious, Republicans. Personally I am far left on many a things, however I do see many good points in some of the conservative platform, mainly on education and crime. Also, traditional American values has become to many, and this certainly could be a fault of the media and the way things are presented, a religious thing.

Someone did make a good point, I do not see many Reblican's or conservatives back away from her or condem her. She makes conservativism look bad in many peoples eyes. Not debating whether it is/isn't. She just makes it look bad.

i don't think people are mad at your principles, they are just mad at the people who are setting a really bad example of your principles.
