By the way, I'm sure Sam doesn't still visit here, but just in case I thought I would pass this along.

We watched OKONOKOS together the other night, and Sam, your work on that film is just amazing.  Truly amazing.  I honestly believe that it will be looked back on some day as one of the all time great concert films.  Cheers to you Sam. [smiley=beer.gif]

Hey BH--Sam here. I do check this forum fairly regularly just cause I love the band so much and enjoy reading people's reactions to something that I have a creative participation in. Thanks so much for nice words about Okonokos. It is definitely the thing I am most proud of in my catalogue. One of these days I will get around to putting together a special MMJ fans only web gallery where you can see a selection of all of the band photos I have done over the years (since 2002) including in studio stuff and other rarities that folks like you would enjoy. Meanwhile if you want to see other things I have done you can check out 44pictures.com. Talk to you all soon. Sam

Kory

You're a masterful videographer/photographer and an all around awesome guy Sam! Thanks for keeping it real and checking in on us fans. I can't wait to see some more in-studio stuff. (as well as 2038 showing up on a promo dvd or as an extra on something, hint hint...)

Excellent!  "In studio" pictures would be fun to see!

I'm with Kory, I would love to be able to purchase all of the MMJ EPK's together on one DVD if that was possible somehow, including this 2038 extended version.  I noticed at 44pictures.com that you did the Z and It Still Moves EPK as well.

(And I'm sure me and Kory would take out a 2nd mortgage to get the OKONOKOS stuff that was left on the cutting room floor. ;))

Thanks for very nice words Kory. And BH, I could probably put all the EPKs onto one DVD for you if you asked really nicely. This would be one of those things that I would have to find the time for and you might have to be patient. But you know how to find me and I have all the stuff...

Kory

Dave, you'd better ask Sam nicely so you can make a copy of that for me, I'm dying to see those EPKs on a large screen and with the stereo cranked!

Sam, I was checking out some of those photos on your site and you've got a real inventive eye. I dream of taking shots with creativity like that day someday...

Right on. Thanks Kory! I aspire to be more active with my website in the next few months so keep checking it out. I am going to blog more and change the photos more often. One of the ideas I had was to do a "featured artist" section that would rotate and include video and photo work of bands that I have done lots of work with. Certainly MMJ would be the first of these so when I get this together I will let all of you know. Thanks for all of your passion for the band---you can be sure its appreciated.

Awesome stuff man! You went to Swarthmore? I live about 10 minutes form there! Stop by if you're in the neighborhood.
The wind blew me back, via Chicago, in the middle of the night.

Good work here Sam. Thanks for the efforts over the years. Keepin' it special. 1891-2038...and beyond. ;)
