I heading to Ireland and Northern Ireland at the end of August.

i will begin my first in a series of mini vacations this summer tomorrow at 5pm.  i will officially not have to be at my office job for approximately 136 hours.  i almost just peed my pants typing that.

well, i'm ready to take off for denver.  leaving at midnight or so, and hoping to get there around noon, even though check-in is at 3. i'm driving first, so i'm  going to try to drive for over five hours, then sleeping the rest of the way.

I carried a Kirin all the way to the top of Mt Fuji & had someone take a picture of me knocking one back when I got there.

thanks everyone. i just got pulled over after work going 55 in 40....didn't get a ticket!! that would've been a great way to start the trip! talk to guys in around three days  8-) i'm off.....

how did my vacation go?

well... i got pulled over 10 miles into Iowa, my license plate light was out. the dog was sent in, got thrown in jail for 15 hours for $50, had to pay $210 just to get out, $130 to get my car back, and i still have to go to court. facing up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. all that for an 1/8 of weed. THANK YOU IOWA!!! (in Minnesota, it would've been a $150 ticket and sent on our way)  twenty minutes after getting out, i got a speeding ticket $110. THANK YOU IOWA!!!  

got into Denver at 9:00AM. got some smoke by 9:15AM. went to the hotel and slept. got to red rocks, and everything went away. what a beautiful place. WOW! such beauty. tailgated with some cool people. the fat tires tasted better, and the coors light tasted colder. (i did take the picture) When watching the Jacket, all i could do is watch and smile. i wore the hoodie, and numerous people came up to me asking who these guys were and all were amazed. the jacket did it again. what was the worst time, became the best time. what a roller coaster ride.

hopefully if/when i plead guilty, all i'll get is a fine. hopefully. although, it was in a town of 3,000 people. so they'll probably throw the book at me. as if they didn't already. we were nothing but minnesota nice to them too.
