Has anyone been paying attention to the racist nutjob Barack calls his church pastor?  Obama shouldn't get within 10 miles of the White House based on the crazy venom he passively accepts by attending this guys sermons and  witholding disapproving comment on same.  "The US of KKKA?"  WFT!

And as far as Hillary--she's just 1/2 of a pair of the most convincing pathological liars this country has ever seen.  Her relationship to Spitzer and Shue (sp?) are evidence enough she doesn't deserve to occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Ave again--I wouldn't  invite her there for any reason if I were prez.

Good luck dems--put on a blindfold, flip a coin, and say a prayer...

So, let me guess.  You are voting for McCain and watching FoxNews?  I think it's pretty lame that the republicans can't find any dirt so they are running people he's loosely associated with through the mill.  Say what you will about both democratic nominees but at least they've kept it clean.  No attacks ads, no low blows but the gop has already started throwing shit and the dems haven't even named a nominee!

And saying that a politician lies is like saying birds fly or dogs bark. You're gonna have to get a little more creative than that.

Oh, and what this about saying a prayer?  Democrats don't believe in god, remember?  Or is that not one of Fox's talking points this week?

LOL didn't even notice that....around here they call her jersey shore trash---

only reason hillary made it that far is because she's a woman..and the only reason obama has made it this far this soon is because he's black...which is not necessarily a bad thing;-) i didn't think farrar's comments were too off base she just didn't say enough.

It's my experience that the majority of people who disparage Fox news have watched about 5 minutes worth.  McCain does very little for me.  Loosely associated?  He attends the church religiously (pun intended), is complicit in this minister's philosophy through his tacit approval (aka:  non-repudiation of the venomous sermons), had the man preside over his wedding, and gave $22,500.00 to the guy.  Doesn't seem very loose to me.  It is truly sad that people expect our representative to be liars to the point where its like "dogs barking or birds flying".  We need higher standards than this--but open elections and stifled free speech (aka McCain-Feingold) ensure that anyone can achieve elected office.  I am very uncomfortable with the way the Clinton machine approaches politics in general and the way the crap on associates who've lost their usefulness (remember Susan McDougal?).  Bill and Hill crepp me out big time an the last thing this country needs is socialized anything (especially healthcare).  No attack ads?  I beg to differ there--remember Hill spoofing Obama's speech themes about change?  And speaking of change--what specific change has he really delineated?  Better yet what has he done in the senate besides vote "Present" (the easy way to avoid being tagged with any specific position on a given issue)?  McCain has at least served his country with dignity.
Maybe I'll write in Fred Thompson. ;)
P.S.--these observations and judgements are my own.  What CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, or Fox report is their own business and none of them (especially the 1st 4) form my decisions for me.
I know politics is rough and we all want to desperately believe that our guy is "the one"--don't take me personal, just take another good long look

i agree --i like mccain and obama and have always been a fan of fox news--i think people who criticize it have never seen it other than a clip from the daily show--fred thompson proved to be EXTREMELY dissappointing --not sure what he was thinking but he didn't really take it seriously (my impression) and no, i don't think obama's done anything extraordinary in the senate--but i think it's more important what he'll do in the future. i think he has potential to be a great leader. hillary will never be able to command the respect of half of this country for one reason or another. it will pain me to vote for a democrat since they will never realize that higher taxes never solved anything--but i'll take the plunge and vote for obama regardless--

and i used to think the same way about socialized healthcare---but now i realize that it won't happen--at least for hillary..she'll never get the support of congress..and even if it does, it won't make a huge difference because a huge population of this country is already on socialized healthcare
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill

i believe that social insurance would work if we werent paying billions in a couple of needless wars (iraq and the war on drugs). i agree with it because i have personally seen too many people who have ignored their health or had to go without and in one case die because they couldnt afford the costs of medical expenses. the last thing someone should have to worry about is paying to be healthy, at least as much as we americans are forced to pay. but maybe instead of socialized health care, the government should focus on capping the insurance and drug companies. oh wait, i forgot...they are in the pockets of most politicians so that will never happen. as a father and a full time college student, my family and i have "socialized healthcare," but i will be the first to say that most doctors treat you like a crackhead drug seeking wefare junkie if you are insured through the state. and the reason for that is because they judge you by the insurance you use. a bit ridiculous i think. in my opinion, our healthcare system needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, but as long as there are lobbyists, there will never be such reform.

Kimbos_Evil_Bread

I live in Massachusetts and here they've passed a law where if you don't have medical insurance you're fined heavily and given a limited amount of time to find insurance or you have to accept something like Cobra or an equally expensive insurance provider.

Luckily my job offers me a couple coverage options to participate in but those that don't have it through their job have to get it somehow or else they're taxed by the IRS and the options available outside of your employeer are most often super super expensive.

If this "universal health care system" is anything like what it is here I would rather stick to the devil I know as it is now then this seemingly "humane" way of fleecing the already economically challanged.

I watch Fox News enough to know what the talking points are.  This week's big one is (drum roll please) Barack's preacher's political views.

btw, I hate CNN just as much and consider myself an independent.

aMD, I'm with you.  I've been exposed to Fox News enough, that I know what kind of right-wing, propaganda they've got going on.  I actually got punched in the face once for watching MSNBC instead of Fox News!  Anyway, it doesn't take a clip from the Daily Show to convince me. Set and watch them for a couple hours and you'll definitely see through their bullshit.  Fair and Balanced?  I think not.

but seriously what news is not tainted by a point of view?  IMO no news off the television, (or paper or internet for that matter) regardless or the news station, is going to be truly objective.  I think Fox gets a deserved bullseye b/c they declare themselves "fair and balanced" but MSNBC is just as slanted, along with CNN, etc.

Cronkite said that television news stopped being objective when it took on commercial sponsors.  The ads are bought in blocks so the content of the news broadcast can't be any more offensive to the advertisers than the television shows before and after the news program can be.

I think in the long run it boils down to who's opinion do you find less offensive, the FOX one or the MSNBC one?  And all points in-between.

i balance myself by watching fox news--everything else (other than WSJ) is propaganda the other way (NYT, CNN, mainstream news, hollywood, etc) i think it's good to hear it from all sides-fox definitely gets a bad rap
