X-Mas CD Exchange

let's trust rc to put the names in a hat and he'll tell us who we each got. And it doesn't even have to be a hat, it could be a box or bowl or something like that. Or, he could develop some sophisticated random sample number picker on his computer...

Random pieces of paper is good.  We should probably have a pretty quick deadline for mailing out since snail mail take a few days, especially during the holidays, and people are going to want their mixes at least a few days before xmas.

hopefully we have a even number if not I will fill in. The sign up deadline is Dec 13. This should leave enough time to mail to peeps BEFORE X-Mas. That way we can listen to our mix or mixes X- Mas day. I'll start compiling the list of names this wk end and they will go in a hat for my dog to pick the names. Who doesn't trust a chihuahua.....

I'd probably be the newest member (based on sign up dates).  and tracy would probably be the oldest (in more ways than one)  ;)

I was suggesting we set a date to cut off new signees.  I think we should have the mixes in the mail by the 13th, but that would be difficult if you don't know the person's address at that point.  How about we make the deadline to sign up Dec. 10 and the deadline to mail our mixes out the 13th.  That will give us three days to exchange addys, address our packages, and get to the post office.

I could live with a sign-in deadline of the 10th, and get your cd sent whenever, as long as it gets there before Christmas. Seems like we probly won't have a lot more people joining up...

There's no reason you can't start making your mix now. I have. I need to cut about 6 tracks and get the order down still.

I'm just talking about getting the addresses straight.  I think we should set a date though.  some people need deadlines, whenever turns into never.
