I wonder if they're rehearsing at Soundcheck?  Or at Carl's?  However, I doubt their whole stage production would fit in any one room in Carl's house, unless he lives in a castle.  Now that would be badass!

Maybe Jim injured his beard during his fall from stage, and after hours of surgery they couldn't save it, so it had to be removed in order to save Jim's life...

Two questions:
1. Did Jim have to shave for surgery?

2. Is his big hat hiding his stitches?

Okay. Between the life and the beard, I pick his life. But I can't help it -- the beard is damn sexy and goes with his whole persona. This clean face is going to take some getting used to. I wonder if when they shaved his beard it was something like the Family Guy when Stewie was stuck in Peter's fat rolls. Peter lifted up his belly and out tumbled a half-suffocated Stewie.

What did they find in there??

I thought his injuries were on his torso and not his head?
