Mike Brown?! Really LA??? That noise you just heard is the door to Kobe's chances of winning another title slamming shut  ;D

Ive never seen Lebron be so consistently clutch late in games in the playoffs. Its lookin like either he'll choke in the finals and not close out because he realizes he's finally at the point where he expected to be, or he's gonna lead Miami to a gold thingy

regardless, he'll always have an asterisk as a player who had to go somewhere else to get it done (if he gets it done). MJ stayed with the Bulls (Washington comeback doesn't count); Kobe stayed with the Lakers; Magic stayed with the Lakers; Larry Legend stayed with the Celtics; Timmy stayed with the Spurs.

I think the big advantage the Mavs will have is experience. Both teams have 12-3 playoff records coming in. When's the first game, in 3 weeks?

did anyone actually watch Game 1 last night instead of Unstaged? Or I guess DVR it? Im surprised to hear how many people are considering the series over when Dirk had a bad game (yeah, I know about the non-shooting hand tendon) and it was tied with like halfway thru the 4th

Choke city; I love it.

I'm not an X's and O's guy. Watch D Wade (who I liked pre-Lebron) after he hits that 3 pointer to put them up by 15 with 6 minutes left and he poses in front of (practically in) the Mavs bench. You don't do that with 6 minutes left in fucking Game 2 of the Finals. After that, it was on and it was over. The Heat quit playing offense and the Mavs kept playing.

Karma.

???????
He had a better game in the last three minutes though!

Seriously, I can write about what I just saw for hours!  Let's go Mavs!

So right!  I am an X and O guy.  The heat defended the high pick n' roll so well all night and the amount of Mavs' TO's was incomprehensible.  With Terry and Nowitzki taking the night off, Chandler kept them in the game all night with his hustle and dirty work.  I'm still trying to piece together how both Miami's O shut down and Dallas' O stepped up in a magical 6 minutes.  Last 9 points go to the German team!

Seriously, Dallas played terribly again and they pulled it out.  I thought they'd go back to more zone but they didn't.  Lebron again, while making some of the most amazing highlight plays you'll ever see, was rather passive.

We got a series! :D

Son of a bitch.  I turned the damn game off with the Heat up 11 and around 8 to go.

That would have been fun to watch the Heat implode!   ;D

Exactly!  I'm not gonna lie, I thought it was over myself.  That was pretty incredible.  I was thinking about that this morning, one minute Wade drills a three and holds his pose, bronbron's pounding on Wade's chest and South Beach starts planning their celebration parade.  Next thing you know Wade's laying on the ground wondering WTF just happened.  That 6 minutes may have (hopefully) changed the whole dynamic of the playoffs.  I have lost a lot of interest in the NBA over the years but I won't miss another second of the playoffs.

I LOVE that the Heat lost but the whole thing is pretty U-N-W-A-T-C-H-A-B-L-E :-X

If Shaq's PR people are on top of things, he should totally spoof Lebron on retiring, saying something like, "I'm taking my talents to the golf course" or the couch!

Still glowing.  Ich liebe Dirk :-*

Hey at least Lebron hasn't referred to his Heat teammates as "my supporting cast" this year ::)

OK, obviously Dan Wetzel is on our forum.  He even "borrowed" my planning the parade line...

So... Dan, what say you?    ;D

Not gonna lie, I started watching Real Housewives of NY because I was so frustrated about this game. Even though the Mavs' rebounding was much better in game 2, I think they're playing at 75% capacity. Jet is so streaky... I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I turned the game back on and was like WAHHHHHHHH. It took me about an hour to calm down.
everything sucks. really.

Put it on mute so I could continue studying, but realistically thought it was over...Saw Dirk get fouled, Lebron started to whine, and I had to turn it back on. Unreal they were able to do that. Im not even sure how the Mavs got up 11 in the 2nd quarter, they werent playing all that good, so to see them comeback from 15 down, when no one was having a good game besides Marion was unbelievable.

Game 3 is going to be great TV and hopefully basketball as well.

Who cares about the game? I just hope a bunch of over paid giants make plays they're supposed to make and then sit there and yell as loud as they can in a mocked, frenzied state; that's what I am hoping for.
