Just got the official "we dont want you" email from the place I was interviewing.  I love it when you call & send emails & call some more & send hand made postcards (kickass I might add) & call some more & no one will talk to you.

If you hired someone else - fucking tell me - it is way less annoying & much more respectable to just tell me when I called the first time.  The random email 10 minutes after I call is bullshit.

Oh well - fuck 'em.  I'll take my talents elsewhere

my wife's in the hospital.  It's kinda of scary because they don't know what's wrong with her and her symptoms are getting worse.  She's asleep right now and no one's been in to check on her in over an hour.  I hate this.  sorry, i just needed to talk about it or something.  i hate hospitals.  usually nothing can scare or worry me but seeing my wife in the hospital is too much.  

edit: a nurse came in and said that we'll be lucky to see a doctor before lunch, she's been here since last night. it may be time to turn my fear into anger.

Very sorry to hear that aMD.

My wife was in a similar situation earlier this year (she has a condition that brings her out in a rash, usually it's nothing too serious but once or twice it's been life threatening)
Not knowing is the worst. I remember being so fucking angry with the doctors.

Hope she gets better real soon.

Oh, so I gave my two week notice today only to be told to pack up my desk.  Best possible outcome.  I'm not usually proud of myself, but I absolutely danced around my boss with my wordplay and the dumbstruck look on his face was priceless.  His only reaction, was to overreact, of course.  I shook my co-workers hands, hugged my wonderful 'partner' Veronica, and walked out a champion.  With two new pens of course.   ;D

Thanks - it gets to be a little annoying - agencies want agency experience - how am I going to get agency experience if they only hire people with agency experience?  The job hunt sucks - everyone is super cool with you, but they are secretly picking you apart bit by bit.  

Oh well, I keep thinking about getting back into the sign business & getting my hands dirty again & sure enough - I've got a little meeting with a sign company coming up - keeping my fingers crossed.
