I woke up today with an explosively horrendous migraine.  I'm going to say the 2nd worst I've ever had.  I tried to just sleep through it but that just wasn't happening.  I took some Excedrin and drank a couple glasses of water which unfortunately didn't stay down very long, but it seemed to do the trick because its finally gone away enough that I can get back out of bed.

I fucked up my ankle today playing disc golf. While making a jump, a certain tree branch was not where I thought it to be; landed one foot, the other was not so lucky. It's sort of purple, a size and a half larger than my other foot, and hurts like shit. I can "walk"(get from my bed to the fridge), but I'll give it a while before any medical consultation is sought.  8-)

For some reason or another, I've got a pretty terrible back and today it's been absolutely killing me.  To numb the pain I'm watching Meat Puppets videos on YouTube and eating far too many crackers.

EDIT: I apologize for this. However, there are certain ones in Athens, GA that are freaking ridiculous. I believe that Cake, Mantooth, Ms. Yvon (pt. 2), Elizianne, and the one and only Vespa, as well as our own Jenny, the former Meg Hamilton, and Meg D., as well as everyone else I'm forgetting (I do apologize) are mostly sane in their own rights. Just a disclaimer. Seriously. Most of the girls out there aren't freaking insane right? I'll find one someday?

I only get them once in a great while, but when I do, they come in full force.  Yesterday it seemed to linger for the rest of the day but was tolerable.  My worst one was a couple years ago.  I woke up and it felt like there was a thousand needles exploding outward from the center of my brain every second.  I have no idea how long I was awake or how I managed to make it from my bed to the kitchen and back to bed, but when I woke up again, the headache was gone and the whole thing seemed like a hellish nightmare.

Today's complaint is that my sister and her friends apparently don't have school today, so they are here being loud and obnoxious.  Hooray for living at home.  ::)

I couldn't have picked a worse time to get sick either.  Tomorrow I was supposed to double dig compost into my garden, work at a convention downtown and go to a good friend's wedding.  Now none of that is going to happen.
