T minus ONE WEEK til I move into the new place....... That belongs in current joys...

BUT IN THE MEANTIME

My roommate says the internet connection problem is due to MY COMPUTER, and MY COMPUTER must have a virus, and MY COMPUTER won't give an IP address, so it's my fault that it won't connect to his network at the apartment....

Ok.  Well.  I'm at the INGLES GROCERY STORE right now, and my connection to the web was fast and furious.  And look, here I am!  Still online!  No connection problems, a-ok!

Ahem.  T minus one week...................   >:(

Dentist appointment today to fix a crown that fell out.   :o What the hell did they use, Elmers glue?

I could maybe understand if it was a really old crown, but it's only been in about 18 months or so.
"Where's Jim going?"

johnnYYac

That sucks, Eric.  I have a crown story right out of "Marathon Man," myself.

I love and appreciate my wife.  She is out of town all week on business and my three little girls are killing me.  We have to get up 90 minutes earlier to get everyone where they need to be before my 7:05 start time at work.  They won't go to bed early... hell, they've gone to bed later than the regular bedtime every night this week.  I just can't settle our 3 yr. old little monkey.  I am sooooo tired.  I need them asleep so I can grade papers and write this zoology test.  Arggh.  I had to vent, now back to work.  One more day... Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Absence makes the heart grown fonder.

I'm done for the night.  Test is made.  Fuck the grading.  Still... its hard to stay mad at this one.  She's a good kid, just very needy when Mommy's away.  Yawn.  G'night.

With a face like that, I can see why it would be hard to stay mad.  What a cutie!

I bet she has you wrapped around her little finger?   :)

My my in laws got their gravel driveway paved finally. It's always been a nightmare drainagewise. Contracter did an excellent job paving and built in this great drainage pit and roughed in a pipe to drain out. Well somehow I got volunteered to did the damn ditch to run the pipe through their yard out to where the water will naturally run off. Not sure how I got roped into this. The ditch is the length of a football field and is at least 2 feet deep through most of it. I would normally love doing stuff like this. Just not 1 week before I run a marathon. I'm sore as hell and just absolutly exhausted. It looks great and will work, cuz I did it, but damn.

touchingmept2

Dam mjk, sounds like something the wifey would volunteer you for, hehe.  Two feet deep? Around 100 yards long? Shi...and doing it for free? If  I had the money, probably would have rented a small escavator.
The time is near, to come forward with whatever killed your spark.

Oh he mentioned he could have rented a trench digger, about 4 hours into the dig. I about threw a spade at his head, cept my arms were to tired to do it at that point. And my shoulders are absolutly screaming today. Bourbon and Aleve will be my friends today I do believe.

I am going crazy waiting for the results of my latest biopsy. They said this one would take 4-8 WEEKS to process. America's healthcare system blows.

That sucks. There really isn't anything that makes the waiting easier, is there?

Except for Klonopin, no; there is not.  ;)
Tom Petty was right when he sang that "the waiting is the hardest part." I just want to get this mess over with.
