So sorry to read this Weenie...my heart goes out to you.  My old man just turned 14.  Thankfully he is in great shape for his age, kind of deaf but healthy nonetheless.  I try to remember everyday with Ole' Man Junie is a blessing because I know that our time together may soon come to an end.  I get verklempt just thinking about it....

I'm always sad when I get home from music festivals. Wakarusa was an amazing time with tons of friends and now I'm back in the real world with work and rules. And speaking of Gold Bond, I used a lot of that at Waka.

I'm doing a week long math conference that my school made me take. The first 2 days have been terrible. The only thing that keeps me here is the 300 dollar check that comes Friday and that money is going to MMJ in KC!

Hey man, sorry I missed you there -- I walked around West Woods and looked for a Louisville flag and/or KY plates and found neither. Were you in the north area? I was camped right by the pumphouse where the Water Wagon filled up every couple of hours. Anywho, it was a great time.
 
Oh, this is a complaints thread, so I'll bitch about the heat. DAMN, it was hot, and with the beats wafting up from the festival in the wee hours, I didn't sleep much. Until the last night when I got a xanax from a guy for airing up his tire.  ;D

   I went on a 3 day Motorcycle trip out to Savannah, Il and Iowa over the weekend, I know how you feel.  No shower for 3 days, covered in sun block and coated in dirt grim and bug guts.  Maybe I should have put this in current joys. I fuckin love it.  But man did that shower sunday nite feel good.
