No offense lpkell, but the Atl has got to be one of my least favorite places to visit.  Thankfully I have no real reason to ever go there which I don't plan on doing anytime in the foreseeable future...

It's all good iLikeBeer. I don't ever want to step foot in Ohio again and I grew up there...and still have family that live there. I do complain about Atlanta's traffic but there is also the amazing weather, the beach is a 5 hour drive away, the mountains are an hour away, the parks rock, and we only get snow once every 2 years or so. Plus I've grown to love the South. You should give Atlanta another try some day!
20 times I wish you'd understand...

I'm I the only one who thinks the latest Tapatalk update suggests ground(ctrl) got involved?

I'm currently lost in the newest update.   It's gonna take me a while to figure it out being the idiot savant that I am with technology.

Hey, Tater.  I saw your doppleganger playing guitar and keyboards in the band that opened for Bob Mould Thursday night.  The only redeeming quality of their set.  Sorry I didn't snap a pic.

I'm glad my doppelgänger entertained you.  Not a good show ?

Mould was great, but the opener was horrid.

I think I'm starting my internet booty quarantine now. And it's my own damn fault.

Complaints? Well, the Mayor of Toronto, Rob Ford, is well deserving of complaining about. He's an utter disgrace and embarrassment, and the latest crack-smoking video allegations (the police have the tape) have made my great city, province and country a laughing stock around the world. Awesome. He was a bad mayor well before his many missteps and scandals (and he's had several), so this is just bad icing on top of a really ugly pasty-white cake. I'm sure he'll be the subject of further ridicule on an upcoming Kimmel, Daily Show and/or Colbert (they've already roasted him in the past). Leno made a joke about him last week, but it wasn't funny. Laugh everyone, while knowing I burn with rage.

Sounds like a valid complaint but I don't think anyone will be laughing as hard at Toronto as they do at D.C. Hell, they re-elected their crack smoking mayor!

True, but Ford is running for re-election and after this latest development broke two days ago, his approval rating went up. Some background: Ford is a mean-spirited, simple and close-minded, cheap, hard-line right-winger beloved in the suburbs, but reviled by the vast majority of downtowners (Metro Toronto's population as of July 2013 is 2.8-million, and nearly half of us hate that fucker). The 'burbs are more populated, but the downtown population continues to grow and thrive, two things Ford hates, along with anyone he disagrees with, culture and arts, the media (no media backs this guy now) vibrancy, mom and pop based neighbourhoods, unions, higher education, gays and lesbians, biking, walking, parks, urbanism, progressive-thinking, and so on.

Sounds like our governor here in Ohio...  :undecided:

Indeed.

Well, I believe many of you are aware of my disgraced Toronto Mayor now. His crack antics, etc., are all over the news worldwide. Fuck, even The View chimed in yesterday. The best is Jimmy Kimmel's piece from a few days ago (I can't find it on YouTube). Here's a couple of other takes:

That Colbert one is hard to beat!

This has been such a joke. It's damn hard to get anything done at work when I'm glued to the TV waiting for the next development.

Jaimoe

It only gets worse, but funnier. What a national disgrace. He's an island, so I'm not ashamed to be from Toronto, a great, vibrant and very safe city regardless and in spite of our mayor. This is funny stuff:
