So I'm again quitting the good stuff to get a better job (7 days strong). I've found out that business is just not for me. So now I'm trying to get a job at a brewery. Just trying to get a job there, but maybe a sales job would open up down the road, even though I'd rather not do sales again. If I don't get the job I'm going back to school, but not really sure what I'd go for yet.

Sounds like you're making some serious decisions Walts, best of luck chief!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Quitting the green isnt very hard...Once I made my decision, I went from smoking at least once per day for about 4 years or so, to nothing, and I havent really felt the need to start again. Youll quickly realize how much more $$$ you have  ;D

Good luck with occupation search though

Thanks guys. But I'll be back as soon as I get the job, or don't get the job. My buddy who works as there said that the first day they had over 100 apps turned in. Things just aren't as fun anymore.  [smiley=thumbdown.gif]

NASA is sending a craft to the moon to fire a missle into a crater to analyse the debri from the blast to see if there is any ice locked below the surface, to the tune of 74 million buckaroonies. It is also a practice run on hitting a potential future asteroid to knock it off course. To aquire that ability would certainly be worth 74 mil don't ya think?

I have a question: What are Grits?

I saw Rachel Ray eating them on $40 A Day but had no idea what they were.
How loud can silence get?

Grits are a southern favorite here in the states. It's basically coursely ground corn meal that is in reconstituted and flavored with cheese or butter and other herbs and spices. Shrimp and cheese grits is pretty usual fare at our house.

I've had the standard kind of grits twice. I can say with certainty that I'll never eat grits again, and I tried it in a grits hotbed of Clarksdale, Mississippi. I prefered another Deep South dish: fried green tomatoes. Then again, I see you are an Aussie (or are you from Sydney, Nova Scotia?), so you may like grits given that Aussies like fried eggs and beets on hamburgers  :)

Oh, I certainly know the South is a grits hotbed, although I had some in Indiana too. If it means anything, I preferred the grits in Mississippi. Boy oh boy does the South love frying things... frying anything for that matter  :)

A really good breakfast joint by me offers standard grits or a grits of the day that changes all the time and gets a bit adventurous. I make cheese grits from Alton Brown's recipe. He's from grit central. I don't much care for standard buttery grits, you gotta get some flavor in there.

Sydney Australia. Nova Scotia's in Canada right?

And doesn't everyone like eggs (sunnyside please) and beets on their hamburgers?

Nothing wrong with a fried egg now and again. Beets on hamburgers however...  ;)

I'm thinking about getting a pet bunny.  We had bunnies when I was growing up, but always as outdoor pets, never indoors.

Does anyone have any advice, suggestions, or warnings before I get too deeply invested in the idea?   ;D
