Thanks for the suggestions, guys! So far, I am only drinking water (which means I had to end my quarter-century love affair w/ sweet tea) and limiting my calorie intake to 1000-1200 a day. I eat those meal replacement bars for breakfast and lunch; for dinner, I try to keep the whole meal at 500 calories and the meal is 50% veggies, 30% meat, and 20% carbs.

I'm going to start getting up early and jogging around the neighborhood. I used to do this in the evenings; however, it's dark when I get off work and I don't like to jog alone at night.

I am hoping to be successful in my endeavor... Wish me luck.

TEO: I love FireKing! When I lived near Cave City, I used to go through the antique shops and try to find different pieces. I found some beautiful mixing bowls once, but couldn't afford them...

Chick-went there only once like 25 years ago but what a place! So cozy, shaded, and cool...awesome. Plan on visiting CA within next couple of years again and that may be on my agenda.

Meg-so cool! Checked on some prices of Jadeite yesterday on ebay and it is not quite so out of line as I thought it may be. Saw a measuring cup with outside embossed markings for only about $10.

People behind me in the computer lab are talking about Adderall and stuff and how snorting it makes it hit you faster and get out of your body quicker so when you want to go to bed you can easier.

One said everyone she knew thats used it to study uses it only for those purposes, but she thinks they probably use it recreationally to get high  ;D

As someone who did just about everything besides heroin or meth in high school and college (my first go-round) every once in awhile, hearing people talk like this just blows my mind  ::)

I've recently come to know some people who like to pop pills...like A LOT and they're mixing all this shit together. They talk about snorting Adderall too. It kinda blows my mind. I've done my share of experimentation, but shit I've always stayed away from the pills, powders, etc. I'll stick with things that come from the earth. Damn kids these days...  >:(
