* i'm doing better in school. i'm digging my english class really hard.  and my brother in the class adds to the experience. not only am i "beating him" (I got a 95 on the paper, he only got a 93!) but hearing him outside of the casual setting (home and outside of school, i suppose) and in a school enviornment is really interesting...  we're incredibly similar... oh! i'm doing my homework in math! (the thing is, i'm a shitty student, but a great math thinker.  yes, i'm tooting my own horn)... and chemistry is just going so well.

* and desptie valentines day being one of most bullshit holidays, it looks like this year'll be a good one

* snow day tomorrow?! please?! really, you shouldn't have.

* i went on a field trip today, playing with the jazz band, and missed math and spanish class...

Phone Went West keeps showing up near the beginning when I put my iPod on shuffle. I don't know why, but it just does. It just seems to get me up when I am feeling aimless or generally miserable (history notes come to mind). Simple pleasures like this help me get by these days.
