We did need that.   I did NOT want to have to win two in Milwaukee.   T Plush hitting into that double play was icing on the cake.   Where did this bullpen come from??!?!?    Brian you nailed it about Tony finally pulling Jamie at the right time.   I was screaming, "It's the fifth inning, it's time!  It's time!"      I'm thinking this one's over in six.  Marcum has been awful.   Will they close the top at Miller Park?   Wondering about those late afternoon shadows.....

I'm rooting for the Rangers because Ron Washington knows how to party.  8)

Why is Chambers on the bench if not to pinch run for Yadi in that situation.  At least put the thought of a steal attempt in Feliz's head.  Instead we have a pregnant backup catcher over on first base and Feliz just locks in on the hitter.  Other than that I thought it was a great game, and well played by both teams.  Go Cards!!!!

I'm pretty sure they took Chambers off the roster for Skip since he recovered from his injury.

Yeah mentioned that all they had left was Theriot.  Screw all the casual fans that aren't watching because it's not Red Sox or Yankees.  The 1st two games have been phenomenal!!

What a performance by Kinsler and Andrus, offensively and of course defensively.  The 2nd up the middle play waht one of the best plays of the year considering the stage and moment.

Why did Rodes pitch up to Hamilton on the 1st pitch giving an easy pitch to hit into the outfield.  Young did a hell of a job to hit his sac fly.

Did y'all think LaRussa started tinkering too much late in the game?

Yes. I would have left Motte in for 1 more batter. Fantastic game just a shitty ending.

Mr. October, maybe? I think St. Louis will lose money if they don't resign him.

A. Why won't Yadi run out a ground ball....IT'S THE FUCKING WORLD SERIES!!!

B. If I'm screaming for Carp to throw the slider and not the curve when Beltre belted the homer why didn't they know not to do it.

C. Allen Craig, actually Pujols....stop trying to be the fucking coach.  I know he wants to win really badly, but there were two plays like this against The Brewers where I was pissed that he tried to take over the game by himself.  To have Allen Craig get thrown out there at second is not ok, not even for a little league team.

Pujols calling his own hit and run, Yadi not running out groundballs....IN A WORLD SERIES......I LOVE LARUSSA....... and we wouldn't be here without him, but get control of your team man!!!!!

We deserved to lose tonight. The Rangers played better.  Carpenter was the only one out there tonight that played good enough to win.

Wow, that was frustrating.   We DID deserve to lose that game.   Game 4 however, is squarly on the shoulders of that asshole home plate umpire.   What a joke.   I'm trying hard to get over it.

Inspiration from the Crowes.....

Off the tracks, lost the rail
Trying to squeeze a little blood out a rusty nail
When you're thirsty, thirsty

Behind your eyes you feel the burn
As you're downhill ride takes a solid turn
For the lonely, lonely

Now don't look back my wounded bird
There's nothing for you here
Need no wing just set your mind to fly

It's like it's been a long time in an empty bed
In an empty room with an empty head
Full of nothing, nothing

And all you got left is the skin of your teeth
And the red in your eye, you're six feet deep
To get ready, yeah

Don't look back my wounded bird
There's nothing for you here
Need no wings just set your mind to fly
Alright

The waiting is over so let's roll in the clover
Time for a head full of stars
Let's pull back the curtain, only one thing's for certain
Well, we don't have very long

Don't look back my wounded bird
There's nothing for you here
Need no wings just set your mind to fly

Set your mind to fly, set your mind to fly
Set your mind to fly, set your mind to fly
Set your mind to fly, set your mind to fly
Set your mind to fly

Are you kidding me?! He just sat back there and watched Holland pitch a shutout, that's all! What a crook!!!  ;D
