Im glad the Brew Crew is going to the ALCS, although they seemed to be celebrating an awful lot for a first round win.

I wish Nyjer was still playing for the Pirates...Loved the "FUCK YEAH" yell right into the microphone after the game  ;D

Redbirds!  What an amazing game.  A pitching gem in a deciding game.  Nothing better.   (As long as you win).  Hated that Howard went down at such a critical moment.  Hope he's good.   Molina is the greatest defensive catcher ever.  And Furcal more than made up for his shakey defense this year all in one night!   That play late was one of the best I've seen.   I'm buzzzin!   Bring it Nyjer, you PUNK BITCH!

3 down 8 to go

the horror.....the horror.....

Phils were out-performed, hands down. An incredibly frustrating series for us fans. Nuff said.

Homer no function beer well without.

Let's go Brewers!

Great baseball and I hate Nyjer Morgan so there's that.

What a throw by Molina though I think Utley may have been safe.  There were no good replays of it.  What an AMAZING performance by Carpenter.

Let's Go O's!

Wow, almost blew Yo out in the first and then to see that lead stand up.  I said two days ago I would have started Craig in this game over Holliday.  Holliday could have used the extra rest, and Craig has been swinging the hot bat.  When I saw the lineup card tonight I told my wife David Freese should be hitting ahead of Yadie.  TL could really use me in the dugout.   ;D

I'm just glad Tony used the bullpen right tonight. if he had brought in Dotel instead of Lynn I would have thrown in the towel.  Then to bring in Motte to pitch to Weeks and finish off the ninth, we aren't there for nothing.  Huge Larussa fan!!!!

He hasn't been around for 30 years as a Mngr from nothing. People here just hate him. Let's see how much they hate him when he makes it to the WS a third time with the Birds.

That's the vocal minority in my opinion.   Something about baseball that just makes everyone think they are smarter than the manager.   I love Tony.    It's going to be a sad day when he retires.    Speaking of thinking they are smarter, I too wanted to move Freese up in the lineup and replace Holiday with Craig!   Looks like Craig is going to play for Berkman tonight....

I thought September was hard as a Red Sox fan, but October has been even worse. It seems like everybody in the organization is getting thrown under the bus. I don't blame Tito for quitting.

Ruckus

Hey look!^^  The Red Sox remain a story thanks to ESPN while two GREAT LCS's are going on!  Can we at least wait until the season is over before the Yankees and Red Sox retake the headlines?

Thanks for Theo Epstein BTW guys ;)

I really don't have a horse left in either of the two races, but as a baseball fan, I like all four of the remaining teams. It's a shame Detroit has had such key guys getting banged up all at once, and they still have a chance, but Texas should be able to win one of the next two at home. I'm an NL guy though, and I like the idea of the Brewers winning the World Series. That sounds nice to me.

Oh yeah, and Nelson Cruz has been amazing. I haven't seen all the games, only parts of a few, but it seems like every AB of his that I see he hits out.

The Brewers could win two at home.  I'm just glad it's going at least 7.  Having to beat the Brwers at home to go to the WORLD SERIES!!!!!  Good Times/Go Cards!!!  We really HAD to have this one tonight, and to see Larussa pull Jamie out just in time was beautiful.  Zep and Dotel and Lynn.....Motte has turned into Brian Wilson.  Amazing!!!

I will say that I was down on McGwire as a hitting coach at first, but our players have shown the perfect balance between being patient and being aggresive.  It's been the difference in the series...and has allowed Larussa to be effective with his bullpen.

Aww, it's nothing personal BH.  :-*  ;D

I'm really just hoping for good baseball and seven game series - (aside from some weak defense last night) we've been getting one and will most likely get the other.
