Pleased you had a good time Wiz! My wife & I usually stay in Kailua on Oahu, have you been there? No hotels, only a few condominiums so it's nice a quiet. Lovely little town, amazing beach!
I've been to Oahu 5 times & Maui once (for our honeymoon)

I miss Hawaii!

We only were in Waikiki and the Big Island.  I cannot wait to go back, and after spending a day up on the North Shore, that is where I want to go!  I am pretty sure we drove through Kailua.....so nice on that part of the island.  This was my first time there, but surely not my last!  One more pic for good measure:

I've been to Oahu, Maui, and Kauai, and Kauai was easily my favorite island...naturally amazing. Here's a picture from the Napali Coast on Kauai:

Unfortunately I've forgotten how to drive, which restricts where we can stay. My wife hired a rental car for our Honeymoon but after the horrors of Hana Highway in Maui, she said never again  ;D

;D Yeah, that road's brutal!!! There's always hitchhiking! There are plenty of island folks that would give you a lift! For some reason I don't think your wife would go for that though (and neither would mine!)... ;D

Some incredible scenery but i don't think my wife remembers any of that. I'll never forget stopping off by the side of the road & watching dolphins play in the ocean!

Yeah I can't imagine my wife being too keen on Hitch-hiking, gentle, sensitive soul that she is  ;)

Thanks everyone.  :) I just love looking at that picture, he's just SO SMALL!!! It's amazing how quickly a baby grows...he's already doubled his birth weight! That picture seems like it was from SO long ago too...a lot's happened in the past 12 weeks...or maybe it's just that I've been awake for 18 weeks worth of time in the past 12 weeks.  ;D

Tracy, he got here (there) in a car...he loves cars. He came from, like, 20 blocks away. We're glad he's home.  :)
