God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Heigh ho! Who is there?
No one but me, my dear.
Please come say, How do?
The things I'll give to you.
By stroke as gentle as a feather
I'll catch a rainbow from the sky
And tie the ends together.
Heigh ho! I am here
Am I not young and fair?
Please come say, How do?
The things I'll show to you.
Would you have a wond'rous sight
The midday sun at midnight?
Fair maid, white and red,
Comb you smooth and stroke your head
How a maid can milk a bull!
And every stroke a bucketful.
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Anyone else thinks this movie looks terrible:

I think M Night may be the most overrated director ever, yes, EVER. I thought 6th Sense was wayy overrated (I knew John McClain was dead 10 minutes in), though I guess it was still good. All his other movies though: unbreakable, signs, lady in the water, the village...all total garbage...what makes them even worse is the fact that the endings are the worst part of all of them...This dude still banks at the box office because he made a decent movie 10 years ago that shocked the world apparently and starred a kid whose best role was 3 minutes of screen time as Forrest Gump's son (alright, Ill give him Pay It Forward)...either way - M. Night movies suck a big Shaymalan

...rant over

The Slugger's Wife...quite possibly the fucking worst movie I've ever seen in my life. You know how some movies are so bad that they're good? This movie is so bad it's.....hell go rent the fucking thing..corny doesn't even come close....to top it off Danny Nunann is the lead guy...I start feeling embarrassed for these assholes

Saw 'Out of the Blue' on Monday night.

New Zealand film well worth watching based on a true event.

In the middle of 'Diner' from 1982 with Mickey Rourke, Kevin Bacon etc. So far so good....

Mickey Rourke = the man....Pope of Greenwich Village, Sin City, Angel Heart, Bullet (which is actually real good, go rent it), Domino, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, White Sands, Desperate Hours, Barfly

I wish he'd make more movies these days, he basically blew off hollywood for a decade..I guess its bc no one really offers him good parts, but he's a great actor

OK, I clicked on this link and there was no sound, so, I turned up my speakers b/c I recall turning them all the way down earlier today, but, what I did not remember was that my i-tunes was playing shuffle, so, the clip starts with The Who- Early Morning Cold Taxi and I am like thinking that is an odd Who song to put in this movie, but it's strangely intriguing and sort of film noir and maybe this is just a hard film to pin down. So, that's actually the image I am sticking with. Pretty cool.

Angel Heart is a great film too.

primushead

Lions for Lambs.  VERY well done, I'm giving huge probs to Robert Redford.  Well paced movie, and leaves you wanting to go out and change the world.

And a film they both starred in that is almost as good (but contains McQueen's best acting performance in a role that garner him his only Oscar nomination) is the epic Robert Wise directed war film The Sand Pebbles. It's one of my favourite all-time movies. The memorable ending has been ripped-off by many a hack director since.

Panic in the Streets (1950) - classic film noir starring Richard Widmark, with great supporting work by Jack Palance (yep, he's a badass in this), Zero Mostel and Barbara Bel Geddes; Directed by the great Elia Kazan. One of his best.

That's the one! What a movie & what a cast. I particularly like the relationship between James Garner & Donald Pleasence characters. Not sure about James Coburn's Australian though  ;)

That is such a great movie. For me it was even better since it was based on real life events. Granted, very loosly based.
