Great choice Mr. T!
I saw that for the first time a week or 2 ago & Sir Ben blew me away!!!

I watched Babe last night. I don't know how many times I've seen this movie but it still makes me laugh & leaves me with a rare, warm feeling all over.
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

QuoteI'm about to see "Sexy Beast" with Ben Kingsley  :)
What did you think of it Mr. T?

I watched Baraka again last night; such an excellent, powerful movie.

QuoteSpinal Tap is a classic.
Funnily enough I was reading an article today about the NWOBHM & how Harry Shearer based his character on Saxon's bass player & how he followed them around on tour for a while before making the movie.

The first time I saw it many years ago I was in tears during David St Hubbins is ranting about the "Stonehenge monument on stage  that was in danger of being *crushed* by a *dwarf*. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object."  C-L-A-S-S-I-C!
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

Mr. T.

Magnificent! The plotline was rather thin, but the acting just blew me away! Ray Winstone & Sir Ben are both outstanding.  8-)

And on a side note: I want a hacienda like that, and barbecues every night...

Is it this movie where a rock rolls into a pool at the beginning or something like that?

Smokin' Aces - It was alright, Jason Bateman and Jeremy Piven were the two reasons I was there.  Bateman stole the movie, even with like 5 minutes of screen time.  I liked when it was super-bad-ass shoot out, but aside from that it wasn't the best.  I really don't like Ryan Reynolds either.

La Lengua De Las Mariposas (Butterfly) - Very good Spanish movie.

As I just finished Firefly, I watched Serenity tonight.  Absolutely loved it, I'm sure it's now my favourite science fiction film.

My sis is a big fan of those.
Can you enjoy the movie without having seen any of the TV series?

Definitely, although I'd recommend watching the series first if only to get much more attached to the characters.

They have the movie in the DVD stores, to watch the TV show I'd have to buy it, which I don't want to do.
Maybe I'll give the movie a try...

Any Serenity/Firefly is better than none.  :)

I watched the extended version of King Kong a couple of nights ago.
I like this movie a lot but all the extended version did was reconfirm that many scenes could & should have been cut from this bloated beast.
Shame as there's an excellent 1h45 - 2hr movie in there somewhere...

Extended version? Yeah the regular version had so much they could've left out.
That's motherfuckin' John Oates!

Hey you movie nuts--I just joined Netflix and my 1st movie just came in, "A Scanner Darkly".

I've seen bunches of movies and have a pretty good queue all set up but am very open to suggestions--any recent must sees anybody would like to enter???
