Viva la Vida

I've always been a fan and really liked Viva La Vida, especially after X&Y which didn't do anything for me either. I read that they are going back to work with Brian Eno again.

I like Viva la Vida a lot, although I think a Rush of Blood to the Head is as good as Coldplay is going to get. Maybe not, We'll see. At least with Viva they realized that not every song they write needs to be a stadium rock anthem, which I think is what was wrong with X&Y.
