I'll meet you in San Fran.

From Paste.....

British Columbia-based psychedelics Black Mountain had quite a successful 2008. On top of a guest appearance on Conan O'Brien and a tour with Bon Iver, the band received a hefty critical nod; their Jagjaguwar-released In the Future was shortlisted for Canada's Polaris Prize for the best full-length album based on artistic merit.

The new year sees Black Mountain teaming up with fellow shaggy Canadian band, The Sadies (who are also soon to release a country record with John Doe), for a West coast tour. They'll be winding down the coast in March, following Black Mountain's stint in Australia.

March
20 - San Francisco, Calif. @ Rickshaw Shop
21 - Los Angeles, Calif. @ The Echoplex
22 - San Diego, Calif. @ Casbah
23 - Santa Cruz, Calif. @ The Crepe Place
25 - Portland, Ore. @ Hawthorne Theatre
26 - Bellingham, Wash. @ The Wild Buffalo
27 - Seattle, Wash. @ Neumos
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

You know, San Fran. is the next on my 'US cities to see'...don't give me any ideas!  I'll have to make it home for the 22nd, that's when Will Oldham's in town.  ;)

My return is imminent.  But when?!  :D

Damn, I can't wait to hear that Sadies/John Doe album.

I've heard that Las Vegas is where it's at...wanna see Tom Jones with me in August K?  ;)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.
