Eric A. back in. (thank you God)

JA in the studio... with Trent rumored to be involved.

NIN/JA tour coming.

Box set/rarities/dvd package due out in April.

At their peak - this was the most bad-ass band in my lifetime.  Their was nothing more fierce, broken, beautiful, volatile and artful.  They were a collision of poetry, muscle and art.

Nothing's Shocking - although released over 20 years ago - does not show it's age or sound dated all these years later.  It's one of the best records ever created in my book.  Classic.  Ritual is not far behind - if at all.

These guys is all grown up these days... and i really doubt that they can come close to creating what they had all those years ago.

But it's nice to think that they might have a shot at creating something pretty cool with their original lineup finally intact.  Eric A was such a monumental part of this band.  Let's hope Perry doesn't screw it up again.

I like their theme song for Entourage

yeah... i'm sorry but i can't count "strays" era Jane's as relevant to what they were to me back in the late 80's, early 90's.

i think anyone that knows this band knows what i am talking about.

I'm with ya on Nothing's Shocking, definitely one of my favorite albums...there's not much that can satisfy me in rock 'n roll more than Perry howling "Comin' down the mountain..."  8-)

Thanks for the update!

That is sick!   EROTIC JESUS!!!!

This is great news.  I've only seen Jane's one time and it was short and dissapointing because of sound issues.  It also wasn't in their prime either.  I would love a chance to see them again.

Triple X, Nothings Shocking, Ritual and even Kettle Whistle and Live And Rare are all still in my regular rotation, and Nothing Shocking is just plain one of the greatest albums of all time.

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

When I was in 8th grade we had a poetry unit in English class, and the teacher said we could each bring in a song that we felt had poetic lyrics.  He played us "Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin as an example.

I brought in "Three Days" and got kept after class.   ;D ;D ;D  I don't think I really understood what it was about.

Love Jane's.  I hope we get them at Lolla this year.  It's looking like we might.
if it falls apart or makes us millionaires

saaaaweeeeeet!   and Faith No More and Blur are getting back together this year too.   maybe I should go back to college and pretend nothing ever changed??

actually... Jane's broke up when I was in high school...

my main point still stands:  saaaaweeeeeet!
