Q is actually a popular radio program on CBC Radio One. The CBC televises it for the net. The clip is totally legit and is all over the media in Canada right now. What a fucking prick BBT is. Jian, the host, was told not to even mention that BBT was an actor, but he did anyway, but only briefly. His tirade about Canadian audiences has a shred of truth to it, however, perhaps the reserved nature of Canadian audiences has more to do with enduring his bad fake country music.

"Sometimes it runs its course in a day, babe.  Sometimes it goes from night after night."

Wow, I haven't been that uncomfortable since Juaquin Phoenix' appearance on Letterman.  Is there some new drug out there that I'm not familiar with?

I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

TheBigChicken

just give him some french fried taters and he'll tell you whatever it is you want to know
the fruit bats love makin' made all the kids cry

Jian is a very easy going and bright guy. He didn't deserve this kind of bullshit, especially from a washed-up actor and fake country hack.

I have mixed reactions. On one hand I enjoy him not playing the part of puppet, especially after he asked them not to bring up his acting creds.

On the other hand, without his acting creds he's not doing this interview. Period. If he wants to be judged on musical talent alone, then he doesn't get to open for Willie Nelson or do radio interviews; he's getting to do that stuff b/c he is an actor.

His anger seems misguided.

I can't imagine part-time rockers Kevin Bacon and Gary Sinise acting like this.

Billy Bob is the fucking man! That interview was hilarious.

The best part is when he rips the Canadian fans.

The Juaquin Phoenix interviews are staged. He is staring in a mockumentary made by Casey Affleck.

His act is no different that Sasha Baron Cohen (Borat).

Except for the fact that there was nothing funny about Juaquin's act.

and that Borat acknowledges it's an act.

that was pretty funny. best part might've been when billy bob was mid-pissed off mode and they cut and show the faces of the other guys  ;D

yeah, he acknowledged it after the fact. How can Joaquin say its an act now and get the same reaction from people?

He needs a hit. His last four movies ain't no Maltese Falcon: School for Scoundrels, The Astronaut Farmer, Mr. Woodcock and Eagle Eye.

I'm at work so I can't watch the clip...sorry in advance.  But I just had to say that I really enjoyed BBT's show when he opened for Willie.  It was fun, rocking, he had a great band.  The band was more the highlight for me than he was, but whatever.  Maybe it was just b/c I was excited that they had Jon Rauhouse (spelling?) on the pedal steel and Willie was coming up next, but I don't think so.  Not saying it was anything groundbreaking, original, or even all that serious, but it was a fun show.  Can't wait to see the clip after work.
We could.

Havent seen Eagle Eye, but I couldnt even finish Mr Woodcock, School for Scoundrels was average at best, and AF just looked like garbage.

In this decade though he's had Bandits, Waking Up In Reno, and The Badge which were all good, and then he had The Ice Harvest, Bad Santa, and Friday Night Lights which I thought were all great.

That's a better resume this decade than people like Tom Hanks an Mel Gibson.

I dont think you get washed up as an actor though. You either pick good movies, the money, or get lucky and find 1 with both. Most of his lately have been money grabs.
