Jeff Tweedy-Sunken Treasure is pretty awesome. That version of Black Eye kills me.
Some girls mothers are bigger than others girls mothers...

Started watching The Beatles Anthology again last night, first time on DVD...the sound is incredible!
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

DVD:

Pearl Jam - Immagine in Cornice.  Phenomenal!!!  Watched it again last night.  Am a die hard PJ fan and this is, IMO, by far their best.  Totally captured their live experience and made my jones hard for a PJ show (and to go back to Italy)!!!

Why Live Albums Rule!

Excitement, hits, bum notes, heckling: the spirit of rock'n'roll is alive and well in the grooves of the live album, says MOJO's Stevie Chick:

Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show.

Live in the UK I think it's called. It's the only video I have ever found with the yodel song.

I saw Dr Hook on NYE once long ago at Sacramento's Alhambra Theatre when they wanted to save the Golden Age movie palace from the wrecking ball. Seems our city wanted a Safeway not a rock venue. We lost that one. Still won't go to that store ;)

thanks for listening
Not the one thing. I used to think I
could at least some way put things right.

Old Grey Whistle Test has some excellent vintage performances!

Lots of love for Dr. Hook - I've been listening to Dr. Hook, Sloppy 2nds & Belly Up! a lot recently.

Aside from Repeater, all my Fugazi went missing a couple of years ago.  I really need to do some replacing.
