As a giant R.E.M. fan, I completely agree with the decision to include "Shiny Happy People."  That song is garbage.

Now, "The Sound of Silence" on a list of worst songs ever?  That's just stupid.

what angers me most though is the Spin Doctors' Two Princes. That song rocks. Its cheesier than almost all of their songs, but the Spins rock out. No business on this list.

There are a few others too. Its almost like they made a list then threw in a few personally disliked songs to make it interesting. BOO!

Yeah some of the songs fall into the love/hate category (We Built This City, Shiny Happy, 2 Princes etc) but Sound Of Silence?!!

Other than Barbie Girl, most of those songs, I am not ashamed to admit I like...especially if I'm drinking

I don't care for "Ob-La-Di" - it's one of my least favourite Beatles songs - but it doesn't deserve to be on the list.

I have the "privilege " of working for 2 major Canadian TV music networks, and the worst song I've heard in my 13 years here is Ashley Simpson's 2008 semi-hit: ""Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)".

Why put "Shiny Happy People" on the list?  Are you kidding me, "Stand" is about 100 times worse.  I can't listen to "Stand" to this day.  And besides "Shiny Happy People" was on Sesame street under the title "Furry happy monsters."
