Famous musicians like James Burton, Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen & Tom Waits have played guitar on his records. Bono & Rick Rubin (among others) have produced his music & he wrote a song with Glen Danzig...who is he?

Who gave up his seat to JP Richardson on the plane that crashed killing Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and Richardson?
So soon after payday, know it seemed a shame!

I know that Waylon Jennings was supposed to be on the plane, he was Buddy's bass player @ the time...

1) "I've outdone anyone you can name - Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Strauss. Irving Berlin, he wrote 1,001 tunes. I wrote 5,500."

Who said dat?

2) "One good thing about music  - when it hits you, you feel no pain."

And dis?

3) "Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production dealines or dates by which bills must be paid."

And dat?

I know number two is bob marely.  I'm going to guess number one is Frank Sinatra.  I have no idea on number three.

Bob Marley is quite right! Good guess with Frank but not the right answer. Number 3 is one of your recent listening favs  ;)

So close (kind of!) but not quite right  ;D

is Zappa the answer for number three? (if not then it must be Dulli, those are the two guys I'm obsessed with these days).  I really want to know the answer to number one since I am drawn to prolific songwriters with attitudes (kinda afraid it's wayne newton though).

I'll be thinking of a question to ask.

Penny Lane

does anyone know the only native american band ever to have a top 10 hit (and name of song?) this is the only question i ever ask that stumps people--
but come on...there's nothing sexy about poop. Nothing.  -bbill
