I so badly want to catch one of those Gregory Alan Isakov shows but he's not coming here and every possible option for me is 3-6 hours away on a week night or while I am on vacation.

He's fantastic and I love his music.

I got a presale code from Blumenthal Arts here in Charlotte to the Gregory Alan Isakov show.  I never heard of him.  I listened to a few songs on Spotify and fell in love.  I think it took a total of 15 minutes between the email and my ticket purchase.  How did I miss this guy?

Heading up to Asbury Park Sunday for their Music In Film Festival. Gonna hit the Paramount Theater for A New Orleans Afternoon with Danny Clinch,Ben Jaffe, Mark Sperling and Friends with a screening of Danny's "Louisiana Fairytale".

Then at night head over to the Stone Pony for the PHJB and Tangiers Blues Band with Danny Clinch. I believe Nicole Atkins is going to be there as well.
