I just read that last year it sold out a few days before the festival, so we should be good. I'm ready to buy my ticket as soon as Rothbury gives us any information.

People who have been to Wakaruse and Roo: Is it ungodly hot at Rusa? Do you wake up at 7o clock in the morning soaking wet in your sweat? I'm deciding between the two right now and I'm 75% towards Waka but it's because I hate the heat and crowds at Roo.

So after all the excitment, whos hitting this? I got my volunteer form returned today and was accepted. Hopefully see some of you all on the rail! I'm passing by the roo this year for this, so I hope its worth it!

Ill probably be there as well. It hasnt sold out yet has it?

theres no way it can be. I applied to volunteer yesterday and got accepted today... I have the feeling that means there are a bunch of spots open for whatever you decide to do... I know in the past with roo its weeks before people get accepted to volunteer and usually they get denied. I would doubt that waka even does sell out honestly..

Stage schedule is out. Looks like it's going to be Jacket Friday for an 1 hr 45 min set   :-\

yeah I saw that.... Its a real bummer that they're the big headliner and they've gotten a shorter set than Ben Harper or Umphs...

At first I took it really harshly, then I realized that they don't have a spot longer than 2 hours at any festival so far. Plus I've spent so many head aches deciding between bonnaroo and waka, buying tickets and selling them, blah blah blah, and I finally decided to volunteer Waka and I payed my deposit and everything. I'm seeing Jacket 5 times between Sunday and August 4th so I'll cope somehow...

And Forecastle keeps teasing us on Facebook and I'm hoping/thinking its possible that Jacket will have a nice little set this summer in Louisville with their new album.

It'll be nice to know that, while vh1 Storytellers is premiering, the boys will be playin'.
The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

Anyone got an extra ticket they want to sell? I thought the Jacket would be playing Saturday night and I could just buy a ticket for one day. Now I'm screwed and I have to buy a full weekend pass to see one band on Friday night.

I've only been to Bonnaroo (the 4+ hour MMJ show!) and yes - it's hot as fuck. Granted I am a very hot natured person - it's fucking hot and miserable. The only time I found I could enjoy beer was between like 2-5am...otherwise lots and lots of water.

I always said if I ever went back to B'roo I'd get the VIP tickets cause I can't hang any other way. I'm now considering Wakarusa just for MMJ and trying to prepare for the heat and the hassel. Call me a lazy and spoiled - I'll bitch about it till I'm there and smiling.

I have a Waka early entry parking/camping pass for sale....face plus fees I think about $140....good for entry regular time too, of course.

Prefer paypal.
