MMJ is going to bring the house down Friday night and will be a very hard act to follow..

It's looking like this will be the first show of the Summer festival tour, and I can't fuckin wait to "hang out" with all you fools on tha BEACH in 5 weeks

oh mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn......this is going to be unfucking believable!  and they are playing on our 11 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! what better way to celebrate than with a bunch of fools, a bunch of beers, a bunch of beach, and the best f'ing band on the planet.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm breeding a stable full of pink ponies as we type!

So Motorhead is apparently playing on Saturday.  (Thx for the tip Penny). This might throw a wrench into things depending on when they play.  I'm willing to miss the avetts and Foo Fighters if need be but not the Lips.  I've never seen Motorhead before and they would be a must see for me.

I'm guessing this is going to be a late night show...it has been on their website for a while...but nothing on the Hangout site which makes me think it will be part of their 2nd late night announcements.

Thanks Bold.  That makes Saturday more exciting!  I wasn't overly thrilled with the late night sets since my chemical consumption days are long over...for the most part.

If in fact Motorhead lands a late-nighter on Saturday I might just refrain from sleeping until Monday morning. This news makes me happy......and worried about my health/Hangout survival chances at the same time  :o

So since Black Metal has now been released, do y'all think they'll debut it on the beach?

I know the other tunes probably won't get played till later in the tour, but I sure do hope to catch this one live for the first time  :o

This is a random suggestion, but some of the people I'm going with are going to some place to pay 15$ to get in cages with baby tigers and baby lemurs. I think it will be awesome but We always try to go to zoos on trips so maybe it's just me

7-830 on Friday...I look forward to savoring the time we get! Maybe they'll allow some overtime too?

The pairing of some acts are really going to cramp my style, but I suppose not every show could possibly be seen with this great lineup  :'(

I hear ya, I would've liked to catch them for the first time too. Gotta have priorities though  ;D

Warren's Band is also too close to MMJ set time for me to chance it, but Galactic/Black Keys at the same time really kills me along with Motorhead and Flaming Lips. Time to dust off the old flippin' coin...

I gotz conflikz:
Honey Island v. Grace Potter - Honey Island wins
Minus the Bear v. Deac Confederate -Going with Dead Confederate
OCMS v. Truth and Salvage - Prolly Truth and Salvage because I've seen OCMS some times
Lips v. Motorhead v. Rival Sons!? - This one is brutal.  Three bands I desperately wanted to see.  Likely the lips.

And the big one!
DBT v. Lunch Money
I'm stealing Patterson's lunch money than sauntering over to the kidz stage to watch some lunch Money

if i can be of some assistance, get your self a double headed coin and call the lips heads.

ive seen galactic enough times (probably close to a dozen or so over the years), and the keys are just pure power.  for me, they win that battle every single time.
