Missed this recently but Cake have a new album out, Showroom Of Compassion. Any fans on here? They rarely get to come to England and they've just announced a concert at The Roundhouse in November.

Anybody been to a Cake concert and are they worth going to see?

Fashion Nugget is a great record.  The covers of I Will Survive and Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps are top shelf.  Havent listened to it in years, may have to pull it out to give it a spin. Reckon they would be pretty smooth live....

I love Cake.  I've seen them twice - once in the mid-90's at Statton or Okemo, VT and they were pretty good.  The second time was last year at the Green River Festival and they were HORRIBLE.
