Oh man, what a comeback for K-State to comeback after being down 18 at the half and take the lead, only to have it all thrown away by terrible coaching. K-State got across halfcourt with 8 seconds to go and had a TO left. They didnt use it, McGruder never even touched the ball, and the only shot they got off is from behind the backboard. Ugh, I got Bruce Weber'd again.

Agreed, and a possession before he had his point guard on the bench for a defensive sub, got the ball with two TO's left and instead of calling one right away, let the play clock get down to 7 seconds and then called it to get him in the game.

Also, check out the one person on Yahoo who still has a perfect bracket. If they get that final four, the world is going to implode.

A long way yet to go my friend. I'm no where near celebrating anything except picking a couple of upsets right.  I watched LaSalle play a few times this year, and just liked their energy, and toughness. After watching the way they played in the First Four game, I thought they could pull this off. Also figured it was a real good spot to pick an upset, and possibly make a move in my brackets. Get lucky with the win, and maybe have others lose a team they thought could go far.

That ESPN perfect bracket is nuts. Crazy Final Four, and other than an alum, I don't know how anyone could've picked Harvard. Soild team, but not their best recently,IMO, and  a huge upset. Even bigger than LaSalle over K St. That's the beauty of this tournament every year, and glad to see some of the chalks going down.

Well, it couldn't last...jeez, BREANNA, you couldn't see that Georgetown was ripe for an upset at the hands of a 14 seed?

Two years in a row a 15 beats a 2!  it's great for the game, but kicks the shit out of having fun with a bracket challenge. If it weren't for being in a couple of them, I'd be pulling for every underdog.

Yeah, and what's up with Breanna not seeing this Georgetown upset coming? Hell, she had Harvard right.

Looks like we're going head to head on a couple of games in the South tonight Crispy. I've got the favorites, and you can rack up some bonus.  Should be fun.   Isn't picking OU some  kind of offense in Stillwater?

That's why I don't do brackets. There was not one fiber in my being pulling for G'town and I would have picked them in the bracket.

Having said that , go Hilltoppers!

Sweet, I have a big chance to catch up! I have a feeling my remaining final four picks are going to wreck it for me though, they're all #1s.

You caught it, not only did I pick against my own school, I went with the dirtburglars! I'm in trouble if anybody in my office pool (which I am leading) notices that. I won it last year, mostly thanks to picking that last 15 seed upset...which I can't even remember who it was.

When it comes to upsets and my own picks, I still love seeing the big ones, unless it's against a team I have winning more than two games, and even then it's still cool.

Speaking of upsets and pessimism, I have always hoped OSU never gets a 1 seed during those years when we do well, because with our luck, we would be sure to be the first ever to lose to a 16 seed! Yeah, go Hilltoppers!

Florida fucking Gulf Coast. I had Kansas in the Final 4 in both my brackets, only change to either I made yesterday morning was GTown in the Final 4 in one. OOF.

That said, Kansas is only tied to the Hilltoppers late  in the 1st half  :undecided:

I thought Michigan was a bad matchup for VCU because they dont turn the ball over much, but whoa, didnt see that blowout coming.

So far, I have gotten the 3 5 seed upsets right and Oregon going to the sweet 16! Super happy with where my bracket is going this year.
I wonder why we listen to poets when nobody gives a fuck

Woo, Ducks! (even though they beat my team) But GAAAHHH, fucking Marquette! First they sneak by Davidson, now Butler! I had Butler going to the round of 8 in my office pool, and meant to pick them in ours but forgot, so no matter, but I had the lead for a few minutes!

Now come on Shockers!  :cheesy:

Yeah I think my bracket is destroyed but I don't give a shit if my cards can keep doin what they're doin.
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

Everyone's going to say how the Zags proved the point they didnt deserve a 1 seed, but after watching Wichita St for 2 entire games, they look like the real deal to me. Zags losing Gary Bell was huge IMO, Stockton Jr is worthless and only played basically the whole 2nd half for that reason.

West has been brutal so far. If OSU wins, that Zona-OSU game I think will be good, and winner gets to the Final 4. I'll be damned if Im not rooting for the Shockers at this point though \\_/_

Isn't the whole point of having the tournament at different locations to have a neutral court for each team? How does Louisville and Butler get to play in Lexington? California in San Jose, Michigan and Michigan State in Auburn Hills, Kansas and Kansas St. in Kansas City, Georgetown in Philadelphia, etc?? Some aren't exactly "home court" but its not far from it.
