With the way gas is going up, I am not sure airfare is going down in price...
Personally, I think $325-350 is reasonable for a roundtrip from NYC...

I agree. I thought a few weeks ago that $375.00 wasn't too bad either.

I'm hoping the flights don't fill up, and the airline will drop fares some, rather than fly a 1/2 filled plane. If not, I'll be happy with $325.00 - $350.00.

i'm gonna hold off a little longer too, hoping prices come down more.  every little bit will help!  what with all of the other jacketfestwest activities and all  :)

Went to a wedding this weekend, reconnected with some old friends from Vail. One is going to his first Jacket show, strongly suggested I go with.

Then I got a call yesterday to come in for an interview based on a phone interview I thought I blew.

Maybe the Gods have plans.

The flights I've been watching all leave on Tuesday the 2nd and the fares are the same for each flight. I'm up for catching anyone of them, but the early am would be last on my list.

Just got a price drop alert on these flights. They're down $9.00 from a week ago. Now at $334.00 non-stop roundtrip.

i totally spaced on the fact that this show is on a thursday. i could still make it work but my vaca isn't really supposed to start until saturday (if everything goes the way i think). i could maybe fly out wednesday night though .. stay in the denver area until monday (seeing the show, visiting other friends and hanging w/ you freaks [said with the upmost love and adoration naturally]) and then fly to 'bama to visit family and work on my tan for the week. we shall see !!

Also, I don't have the specs, but my wife is claiming that we can do airfare + hotel for Sunday-Sunday of that week for $1,000. She obviously has not calculated the potential tab at Oskar Blues Brewery, but whatever. I'll let her keep planning.
