Per earlier discussion, the Red Rocks site says Will Call opens 2 1/2 hours before showtime. Showtime on tickets is 7:30. And it sucks you can't get them earlier. I don't know when doors is. My tickets don't say. It is indeed a trek to will call- you might want to carpool it, mainly because you won't be used to the altitude and it's a long climb back.

I have my own bias as to which entrance I like, but consideration should be given to covering all (three) of them assuming everyone on the sign up list will be there.  But even if everyone wants to party in the same line at one entrance, good seats should be easy.

I am curious- When I went to Red Rocks for the Evil Urges show I don't think I was involved with this board, but I didn't discern much of a travel contingent in line. Anyone in this group attend that show? The rain on that line was awful.

this is what i got from the red rocks website - The box office and ticket Will Call is located on the Red Rocks Park Road (entrance #2). The Red Rocks Park Road entrance is along Hwy. 93 and is the closest entrance to the town of Morrison. Ticket Will Call opens 2 hours prior to doors opening.

This is a bit off-topic from the MMJ Red Rocks show, but are any of you Denver area people going to the Soundgarden show at Red Rocks on 7/18.

I'll be in Denver on business on that date, and am going to that show alone at this point.  If anyone else is going and wouldn't mind the company of a 40 year-old fellow MMJ fanatic, please let me know.  I have a GA ticket and plan to get there in time to get in front of the small soundboard that is about 18 rows back.

I think once we have a better idea about times I can get a clearer picture on the party bus and costs associated with it. I too want to get there early to hang with everyone before the show.

Dave are you still headed up to the bluegrass/beer fest that weekend?

Yep, Friday morning we are leaving Denver for two days at my aunts condo in Keystone.  There is a bluegrass/beer fest in Keystone.   Apparently there is one in Boulder too?   I guess Colorado has a bluegrass/beer fest in everytown, everyweekend all summer long don't they?  ;D

Unfortunately when I dragged him to MMJ last time he didn't like them that much, so right there you know some of my friends have bad taste  :P

I think it is sold out.  I stubhubbed a ticket since I'm coming from far away and wanted it dealt with before I left.  The ticket ended up being the same as face value, so if you wait until close to the show, you can probably get a ticket for less than face.  There seem to be 10,000 scalpers trying to sell Red Rocks tix, and that must drive down prices eventually.

I'll have a car if you guys need a ride.

Good thing I'll be squeezing in a short visit to see my daughter, and Furthur,or I think the anticipation for JFW might get the better of me. ;)
