There was homemade jam, Ky -- I know those two nice pint jars of strawberry(!) rhubarb jam sitting on the counter were hard to spot through the haze, but they were there, as was the open one in the fridge that I mistakenly left. /crying/

Yes. Unless they were in a handle shaped bottle we probably missed them.

Oh no...forgotten jam!

And all those microbrews! Nice. Any standouts??

Winner, hands down, for all varieties:

Here's a pic from my fridge from a few weeks ago.  The Old Chub is definitely more of a fall/winter beer for me but the Yella Pils was excellent summer drinking.

Nice!   How was that Vanilla Porter?   Looks delicious.

I'm mostly an PA/IPA guy these days and so I love the Dale's Pale Ale and the Gubna is the most hoppy thing I've ever had.  Plus it's really fun to say "Hello Gubna."
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

The quality on this is not so great and there is a lot of wind over the mic, but look at the time stamp. This Dondante at RR lasted 20 minutes.

20 minutes.

And the view within the last minute when he pans the camera back and you see Carl on the big screen and the city in the background. jesus christ.

I'm really enjoying all the pictures and cheerful glow this gathering produced. I am very much a "civilian" among all you hard-core MMJ fans (I didn't understand the Touch Me Part 2 chant for example).

Thanks for letting an old rocker, but MMJ newbie (only my 4th MMJ show!) share it with you. I am really sorry My Wife couldn't meet all you cool people, but she was training for a Triathlon which she did on Sunday. My Wife and I will do our own traveling to Alpine Valley Wisconsin for PJ20 over Labor Day Weekend.  I hope that at least Jim James will show for that one too. The great time I had with you all, will set a high bar for that event.  I will surely post about that experience somewhere on this forum.

Here's hoping for a Red Rocks JacketFestWest gathering every summer.  MMJ fans are waaaay cool in my book!

I beg to differ.  You are no newbie my friend.  You are a Professional.  As I said to you last week, so glad you were wearing the Roll Call shirt and it was a treat to hang out and rock out with you.  Our group had veterans and rookies and each and every one made the "whole" greater than the sum of it's parts.

HELL yes, you can count on a Camp Crispy JacketFestWest every year MMJ plays at Red Rocks! And now you guys know how to get to the place!  ;D

Of course we will also have the Upper North Lot JacketFestWest every year too!
"...it's gonna be great -- I mean me coming back with the band and playing all those hits again"

As long as they tour I can't see them skipping Red Rocks, since this is the first heavy heavy tour year since 2008. Heres to hoping they play again before the 7th studio album is released!
don't rock bottom, just listen just slow down...

I would do a JFW every year even if there isn't a show and sit on Crispy's porch for hours. Next time I'm bringing a book. Some Willa Cather would be completely appropriate.

It's great to hear stuff like that on these videos. It's easy to forget there are thousands of people behind you with the exact same emotions...

And by the way the sadness finally hit me today. The post-trip high lasted longer than I expected but right now I'm finally coming down and...it....sucks.
