I feel very lucky to have scored tickets to this show. I think there could not possibly be any bad seats, unlike the Greek. I am much looking forward to hearing the music where it is actually louder than the people sitting in front of me. Last time I saw my favorite band in such an intimate environment was 1984 when I saw REM at the half full Mission Theater in Santa Barbara.

I am very excited for this show. The Greek Theater show was the only concert I have ever been to where I yelled, "TURN IT UP!" during the show. I was still a great night but I left the show longing to see them at a indoor venue.

This show will be great.

I'm definitely a latter comer to MMJ, but the Chicago show will be my fourth in thirteen months. Making up for lots of lost time...
It's all happening.

there is one on broadway in oakland really close to the fox, and of course the other one on Telegraph in the Temescal neighborhood....which usually has a line out the door a mile long.

;D  Miss Y, bakesale Betty sounds like some good ole Carbo load times, I am in. I can also act as a protective bodyguard as I want you to remain off crutches. Will I see you at the Pantages too? I may need some post Waffle love again, or perhaps some shady Hollywood blvd. playtime, only if the beers are good of course.

May 31st  Memorial day weekend has a new Meaning now... anticipation of vinyl!

;D thanks for the body guard offer.  since these west coast shows won't require us to run down 3 flights of stairs to get to the stage, i hope to keep from breaking any bones.

i'll be at pantages, too!  since we've got res'd seats i def want to put in some time at stout or someplace with a rad beer selection before the show.  waffle sounds like the perfect post show set up.  waffle is between the same cross streets as pantages and they are open until 4am.
